sony warn about sea water for its IP5X phones, so onsen may actually be bad for the phone |

onsen water is underground/mountain water so it's fresh water. not salt water.

I never knew the discussion about chibi and ooki would go this far
Correct me if I'm wrong, the reason why Japanese phones usually are IPxx certified is because Japan, just like the rest of the countries on the pacific ring of fire, is very prone to natural disasters like typhoons/quakes/tsunami. I heard before during the 3-11-11 onslaught that waterproof devices played a big role on helping rescuers on pinpointing the location of the survivors during the disaster.

Lol i did not mean to take it in the bath itself, before ruining your phone, you may firts end up in jail... Remember it will sport a camera (no one will ask you the sensor size).
Waterproof is great for our humid summer, and in particular heavy rains and typhoons.
I do not think it is a feature built with tsunami or earthquake in mind.

Honami onsen only has 混浴? is it going to be a problem if ladies and gentlemen are separated? |

Never been there, but i don't think that camera are authorised in any onsen, regardless of the gender separation

No no I was referring to the little Wolf in the pic! I'm fully aware of the Japanese Mythology! Izanagi, Izanami, Amaterasu, Susanoo, Tsukuyomi... Ecc! It's just that this game was highly inspirerd by Shintoism! It's full of myth and story from the Japanese Folklore! For example the enemies With Wind power are depicted as a Nose, whereas the One With Fire are a right eye... There's a girl founded by a bamboo cutter inside a bamboo called kaguya and so on... |
