If you mean either on PAYG or on a Monthly contract then yes.
Free on O2 on a £35 contract.
Free on Orange on a £30 contract.
£29.99 on Vodafone on a £50 contract. |

Have u all noticed that not only have Vodaphone changed the K700s menu icon pictures but they have actually changed their positions too!!
For example the Radio icon has moved to where the Calendar should be etc.
I wasn't sure if u've already noticed this or were just annoyed at the shitty blue&red icons. That really is outrageous!!

Is there anyway of gettting a vodafone contract phone, but without a vodafone live handset. I want to go with vodafone but I don't think I should be forced to use their GUI. Why do they do it? They're getting my money, why do they want to mess with my phone......I'm actually tempted to change provider after however many years it is since I first got a mobile......

Well i was hoping to get mine on 14th June on O2 PAYG, but now i dont know. I wanted to get it on PAYG to get free GPRS but apparently thats ended, today. How typical. I might get one sim free now if i think the higher price difference is worth it.
One thing i do know is, id never buy a Vodaphone handset as ive always known how badly they screw up your phone with their settings. What really suprises me is how popular they are, and how many people's posts i read on forums like Esato who have always been with Vodaphone say they like their operator.
Are you people crazy ? Vodaphone have never been a good operator (IMHO) even if they are the worlds number 1 operator. :?:

Yes. If you get your phone from a third party vendor
like carphone warehouse you will be able to obtain an
unbranded phone which you can have on Vodafone.
Note you have to be careful in that I believe Carphone Warehouse also sells vodafone contracts which are different than the ones which the Vodafone shops sell. They way I have dealt with that is I obtained my number/contract from the Vodafone shop as a sim only. Then I went to Carphone Warehouse and purchased my phone and put it on the existing Vodafone contract and received the discount on the phone. I believe Carphone Warehouse refers to this as an "handset upgrade".
I do find the division between retail and wholesale and Carphone Warehouses private branding of Vodafone somewhat confusing. So to some extent you need to make a decision about both the network you wish to use as well as who do you want to call when you have a problem.

I think it's something like 3.25cm x 4.00cm! (13cm squared)
