HI! I'm a new user in this forum!
I've been supporting Ericsson hp for years and just got a R600.
Even though I have a different phone but I would like to know where can I get the USB Cable that connects the hp to the PC?
And btw, you guys can get the t68i batt from hello@orchad.
they have quite a few acceceries down there but not my cable!

Sprockett--> I don't know about your missing components but I do have an idea about the corrosion.
One reason is of course, sweat. My phone has two rather large gaps at the side and the light from the phone can actually be visibly seen leaking out. If you're sweating from your palm, it might enter the phone. If you're using it under the sun, Sweat might be able to get in too from your face.
Another reason is as you've mentioned, airconditioning. I've got 2 friends, 1 working at Daikin, and another is an electronics engineer. They've said that appliances (phone as well?) when left in a temporary airconditioned room (air con on at certain hours of the day only) are likell to spoil for no reason due to condensation on the inside of the appliance. I've heard in one case, this guy switched of his aircon for an hour, went to his room again, turned on the tv, and it exploded! Condensation caused the short circuit in the tv.
I understand that a little condensation might not be possible to corrode the phone but it is possible. You might not know what your friend put the phone through before he passed it to you as well. Hope you get your problem solved anyway. |

It should not cost you anything but the new sw is not really worth the trip down as there's still many problems that se has not fixed. Serach the threads to do a sw comparison then see if you still want to make the trip down. Mine's still R2b and I personally won't waste my time until they have the new sw which fixes the msg alert. |
