lopezitos69,

AFAIK, internet access settings are SP-specific. If it's impossible for you to use local SIM-card with unbranded phone then you're likely to forget it. Either wait for branded ones or try to use third party's one (but the latter might be too expensive due to roaming)

Your quite right. The screen isn't scratch resistant but with a screen protector fitted it make's it even harder to scratch.

I just update my phone's firmware to R8BC004, then suddenly my phone's screen backlight will keep on changing it brightnest.

Can i adjust it or should i change back to the old firmware and how?

hello
I didn't understand your question.
I've upgraded my phone too, and no pbl.
I don't think you can turn back to the old firmware now....
Anyway you can adjust the light of the screen in the options menu
bye

Tilt your phone towards a light source and the screen should go brighter. Tilt it away and it should dim slightly.

why mate? t650 screen is mineral glass.
Its the same glass used in watches. it is indeed scratch resistant ive tested it myself (though it is far from being scratch proof , there is a difference between the two remember )

I acknowledge that it will change it brightness according to the surrounding light, but before I upgraded my phone to R8BC004, all is ok.
But since I've updated my phone, my phone's screen brightness can go like bright in this second then dim in the next few second.

Yeah I tried tilted the phone to other light source, but at some angle it will not stay at one brightness though... the brightness of the screen changed frequently...

I just got my T650i today

and found to have same problem as one other person on a different forum

when the screen light is on .. there is this tiny hi-pitch sound from the speaker
the one on the front. (not the back one)

that results in me hearing this tone while i'm making a call .. and am in a call

I'm sure there are more ppl that suffer from that,

note. the sound is constant while the phone has it's screen ON. ( at 100% )
it decreases gradually when screen dims. regardless if I'm in a call or not

any thoughts ?

I have been searching this forum and google for any topics on this issue
without any results

this is not due the SAR value

try opening a bright pic or enter new Textmessage menu
(make your screen bright)

and listen .. the sound will be there

Update on the problem with high frequent sound

it seems to be related more to the Led Lights on the buttons
all though I think that booth led light under the screen and buttons are closely related i seem to feel that the disturbing sound disappears when lights under the buttons turns off

I have the same problem. But I can only hear the sound when the screen is on "full bright" and the phone is to my ear. But once the backlight dims to "low" during a call, the high pitched sound disappears and I can't hear it anymore. So I really only have to endure it for about 10-15 seconds once a call begins before the screen dims.
