It's still 03.45 a.m. here, and I'm away to my broadband PC right now..still several hours to go... anyway, can many more users with R1BC001_CHINA_WI and APAC confirm the new f/w release via SEUS? I have enough credits via GPRS here but FOTA says mine is the latest.. |

hey just tryed updating through the update client on the phone and it says that i have the latest software? im in uk and apparently its on the servers?

Wouldn't you feel at least a little bit lonely in the premium world after a while? Or is there maybe anyone else you would like to grant access?
It has just tired me for a while now finding that the most reoccuring and repetitive posts in this thread seems to be from one user, picking on others in a bullying manner. |

@ sielski666 yes you are correct it is on some of the U.K. servers but it may on be available for your region. Check to see what your region code is such as EU1, EU2, EU3.... or EMEA1, EMEA2, EMEA3......etc. Then once it is has been clearly stated that Fw version xxxx is avaliable for your region code you know its time to download.

I am in the uk and my phone says i have the latest f/w version R1CB001 must not be in the uk yet |

It's not what server your on but it's the specific regional language your phone has. Firmware updates are released individually to different regions. Im assuming you know how to get to the Service Menu screen. from there just go Service Info => Software Info. You won't see EUx or EMEAx for some reason on the Hong Kong models? I have seen it in past models at this screen. If you see CXC1250215_HONG_KONG_ @ line 1 you will have to wait tills a member says that R1ED is avaliable for region.

after searching some more in the new i saw that e_plus is a brand, thus i believe my phone is branded. does this mean i won't be able to get a new FW ota? or using SEUS?
is debranding the k800i in wotan allow me to update my FW the next time? thanks. |

E-Plus is an operator in Germany if I'm not mistaken...I think you should wait SEUS releases an approval of your new firmware later than the generic one. You can use Wotan and debrand it and then use SEUS in the future. Correct me if I'm wrong... |

Hey guys,
Is it normal that my phone doesn't have FOTA even if it's unbranded? I bought this from online from France. There's no such function to let me update my phone...
software info: R1CF001 prgCXC1250210_GENERIC_WI R1CF001
customization: CDA102511/54 R4A cxc1250490 R1CF001 FRANCE
Is there a way to have that FOTA function in my phone? Or... there's no way?
