Hi,
I was just wondering if anybody out here is from SE or knowledgeable in somebody inside because Ericsson Riyadh Saudi Arabia as I talked to them today claims that we cannot get any upgrade firmware, from them anymore and are asking whose the dealer we bought the phone from. I mean is this normal practice as I know if it is for example a Sony product you go to Sony service center and not to your dealer.
So any help or clarification would be appreciated.
My last question, If I go for holidays in Manila this coming December and a new firmware is available could I get it from Smartnet or Semicon which is the better place to go as in reliability and technical expertise and how much would it cost at saang place.

@Rota/henryj: Thanks. I got the white paper.
I just realized the P800 is a suped-up t68i, and I don't really need it. Heck, not needing it doesn't mean I don't want one. Granted I get one, it will be a tad expensive as I'll probably need a new laptop when synching with it. According to the white paper, recommended OS of the PC is Win 2000, ME or XP. Win 98 lang laptop ko, punemas!

@Nephilim
But you could probably upgrade it to Windows 2000, as I know the minimum of 98 can be met by 2000 as well I have my second PC a P-1 166MMX at home and it runs Win2K nicely. |
