I bought Core Player today and all I can say is WOW!
It cost me R171.68 and it is worth every penny.
Goodbye low volumes on the P990i,this thing if I put the Pre-amp to full would blow a hole through my head.Going to have to get myself a really good set of headphones to maximise the potential of this player. You know that you got a real good media player when your speakers start sounding like they going to explode.
So,Goodbye 'SE MegaBass',and,Hello 'Core Players Bass Boost.'
It has a 9 band equalizer (one of them being pre-amp) and you can save customised settings.
These formats can now be viewed on my phone. My days of encoding and converting are hopefully over.
AUDIO FORMATS -
MP3, MP2, AAC, MKA, WMA, Midi*, WAV, OGG, Speex, WAVPACK, TTA, FLAC, MPC, AMR, ADPCM, ALaw, MuLaw, G.729
VIDEO FORMATS -
H.264 (AVC), MKV, MPEG-1, MPEG-4 part 2 (ASP), DivX, XviD, WMV*, Theora*, MJPEG, NRE, MSVIDEO1
IMAGE FORMATS -
JPEG*, BMP, GIF, PNG
CONTAINER FORMATS -
Matroska, AVI, PS, TS, 3GPP, MOV, MPEG-4, OGM, NSV*, FLV*
STREAMING FORMATS
HTTP, UDP (Our advanced streaming to be added in between v1.2 - v1.5 that will add support for RDP, RTP. RTSP, MMS, MTP)
Very happy with it.Only played around with the audio side of it.Going to experiment with the movie viewing when I get home tonight.
Get it guys. Its da bomb. (Bugger the Russians-go legit lol)

Not a bad idea, Gucci, although i'll probably end up doing what i love best, i.e. giving most of it away
Hobbs, nice going there sir, brilliant choice you've made. I use Core Player extensively as well, got the settings just right for my playlists. Albano Carrisi, Ol' Blue Eyes, Michael Buble, Carreras et al have never sounded better

Taken with the K550i. Not mind-blowing pics, but good enough for its intended purpose..
One of 3 (b)ranches now open in the UK, and the one is only a few miles up the road at Lakeside Shopping Centre outside Grays, Essex. Check out the prices in Pounds, LOL:

@ Jojo,
Maaaaaagandan Umaga!
Yeah, the highest I've ever had a photo rated was 20th overall for a short while, which was a few days after uploading the bee taking off from the thistle.
Marlonski is indeed a top pic-taker.

@ Jojo,
LOL, that question about Santa is just a saying amongst adults here, referring to what you've bought yourself/ spoilt yourself with for Christmas.
Nice uncle you are, LOL
So a life-size Barbie is on the wish list...and all along I was going to send you a Linday Lohan clone...
