Hobbs, the latest issue of Vodaworld has a particularly insightful article on the Firefly mobile, should you REALLY want to go back to basics It's interesting that you mention the tea break / lunch break routine. It's a never-ending source of amusement for me to check out the Municipality workers when they pitch up on a site. The very first priority is to get the chow sorted before touching any tools... and when those tools are eventually taken up, much time is spent on leaning on the spade/rake/pick, whilst surveying their surroundings. I think it's a herd instinct thing.

Kyle, nice going there boeta, take it easy though. As stated, we'd rather have you in one piece. It's a messy job removing bloodstains from a regional thread

My departed cuz left behind a box of discs, mostly music, but amongst the trove i found the first season of Rome, 12 episodes in all. I popped the first disc into the dvd player, and ended up watching the lot in one sitting. Would love to watch the second season as well, gripping stuff.

@ Hobbster,
Ya, this unrelenting cellphone industry beast really does conjure love/hate relationships amongst both its devout and wayward followers.

@ da brixsta,
Give it some time and I'm sure we'll soon see more players like LG's new BH100, that can happily play both formats.
At this stage, even for a LG, it's still a pricey piece of equipment.
Look how cheap, for example, DVD recorders have become, compared to a few years ago.
At this stage though, I guess we all know that the 2 formats will still be battling it out for some time to come.
The Blockbuster DVD rental shops around here have decicated Blu-Ray sections in them.
He who laughs last... thinks slowest.

Taken from an article on mybroadband
The executive directors at Vodacom, namely Alan Knott-Craig, Pieter Uys, Leon Crouse and Shameel Aziz Joosub, shared a total “executive directors’ emoluments” of R 74.5 Million. This equates to an average package of R 18.625 Million per executive.

FULL ARTICLE

Id like to get the salaries these guys do

i just did a quick calculation... if i worked non-stop, each and every day, 24 hours per day, and was paid at my current hourly rate, without being taxed on my income, it would take me 32 years and a few days to rake in that much!
