the reasons are tht we singapore supporters are not happy with their product ... isnt tht good enought ??

anyway you have to reconsider if they release the software to just 1 country the other country will not happy too

ok sure i'll bring it down to singapore when I'm free. I'm studying in Malaysia so dun really have the time to go down. But I hope by the time I go down the SE people will still take in my phone under warranty. Coz I don't want them to think my phone was made defective by myself when in actual fact I got it in that kind of way. It's only 2 weeks old!! =)
oh so it's to enhance the netowrk thingie.... since I use my phone in malaysia, then the software wouldn't help my network at all la? so sad... just coz i got the phone thru the dbs cashline thingie...
anyway thanks for all the help guys! |

and by the way... where do I go to service my phone? the service points or service centres? which one is faster in fixing phones? Coz i think i can only spend a day or 2 in singapore... if not then have to leave it there and i don't wanna part with my phoneeeee =) |

gilthoniel-> It is best to go to their SC than SP. The SC had all the equipments to do any type of repairs and checking. The SP can only do some minor repairs or upgrading. If anything that they do not have the equipment to repair, they will still have to send back to the SC to get the job done.

Hi guys... has anyone out there also spotted this rather significant difference between R2b025 and r2e006?
Well, for the t9 predicitive input,
For the earlier version r2b0025,
if u type lets say I'm, it will come out as I.m.
like wise for don't, it will come out as don.t
and so on for It's (it.s) etc.
For r2e006,
It follows nokia's style... if u type I'm, it will come out as i'm.
don't comes out as don't..
The # button (which punctuates) will automatically change to the correct puntuation, and won't always stay as FULLSTOP.
anyone else notice this?
or is there anyway to fix the situation? |

oh ok guys... manged to find the article im looking for.. anyway, a complaint abt SESC....
got this fone from my friend b4 he went overseas.. he used abt 6 months, then he passed to me..
b4 he passed to me he told me it was upgraded to t68i r2e006..
im not too good with the technicality of the fones.. but i take VERY good care of my fone..
anyway, cut the long story short, one day i went to sleep, put the fone on charger.
next morning:
fone would have reception problem, kept on saying SEARCHING.... and it would shut off.. and osso have problem turning on...
anyway, as it was still underwarranty,
i went to gold hill to get it fixed...
warranty sticker all intact etc..
well i received a call saying:
1. There are MISSING component from ur fone... Someone must have open up and remove some capacitor or something.
2. There is a lot of corrosion. Warranty is void.
3. We will fix for u free of charge this time, but warranty is voided after that..
Ok..
then next day they call me and say:
1. Sorry ur fone spoilt liao we cannto save it. u want u pay $511 for a new set...
I was quite angry!!
1. I NEVER got the fone wet... NOT EVEN in humid place! i put it in air con room all the way... Does charging over night cause it to spoil???
2. They say component was missing... But how can this be??? B4 my friend gave to me, he sent it into some authorised ACCORD service centre...anyone noes where is this?? Well i dunno what they did, but they must have opened it up and did somethign to it... coz got component missing!!!! and they seal it back and stick sticker!! so there's no way I or anyone else could have open it up again to tamper!!
So my argument was:
1. Component was missing! Last repair was at authorised service centre... HOW COME they are refusing to fix it???? Authorised service centre means authorised rite?? ALL under SE rite??? They say oh we cannot fix it.... coz the component was already lost... Sorry. You want u go back to the accord service centre.. Come on lah, all service centre are authorised... u mean gotta go back to the specific one? like that wat is the point of having a few service centre, if anything spoil, u must go back to the one u went to???!
[anyway If i want i go back to the original ACCORD service centre... anyone noes where it is?? coz my friend havent replied my email... all i know is it stick the ACCORD sticker on my handset the screw there]
2. Corrosion?!?! The fone was never wet!! I suspect it was due to the component that was missing that cause the fone to be spoilt... then they just say oh, corrosion. warranty void. sorry. pay $511 if u want a workign fone....
In the end i just angrily bought a new t68 under plan.... not bad M1 will upgrade it to t68i for free..
So right now still got the spoilt one... hoping to get my warranty honoured one day...
Still quite angry abt what happened... Well the service centre guy (Anthony?) was nice enuff to tell me to go back to the ACCORD service centre to settle with them... i also made him stick another sticker on my fone to prove that i never go and tamper and then go back....
Anyone got any advice/tips on how/what i shd do to repair my fone?
come on lah, one service fix pples fone until got component missing. fone spoil, i go to another one, they say "corrosion". Missing component. warranty void. pay $511. or go back to the other service centre, or in other words, not our problem...
These all are authroised SE centres... where got difference where u go one??

dun worry abt the Brownish patch on ur screen...
i dun thikn the pple here understood what u described correctly...
i think most if nto all fones have it...
my "spoilt" t68 had a slightly reddish bottom left corner... only visible when u switch on or off the screen.. quite slight lah.. no effect on normal usage though..
my BRAND new t68 also had it... slightly more brown than red...
its due to imperfections in the screen technology.. everyone will have some of it... not to worry lah.. i asked in tsixtyeight.forums osso... others also experience it...
dun stress over this...
As for me, very stressed on how to fight my case.... |
