As for now, I'm using the same bulky K850, so I thought it wouldn't be a problem, although I had a tiny fingers 
And my K850 has 2.2" screen, so IMO, I would be satisfied with a bigger 2.4" screen. Dunno about the other people opinions. 
And one more thing, the build quality is superb, like C902. Once you get it in your hand, you would feel it's not an ordinary phone. Maybe because of it's weight?

I gotta friend at Sony Ericsson, he's a production manager, as well I too have worked for Sony Ericsson, not anymore though, as I do my own stuff now. So i'm quite versed with what goes on at SE and who to talk with to get all the low down going on there ...
As far as leaking info, goes I don't leak all that much, just alittle tid bits here and there, nothing to get worried over. As well, how would Sony Ericsson know who I am over here, since my Alias is quite different from me... hehe ...
Anyhow, my interest in the cyber-shot fones so I keep myself apprised of all the new stuff coming, as far as walkmans, Xperia, etc ... go they are not something I would waste my time with as they don't interest me. So as far as cyber-shot fones go, ... you guys would be kept apprised.
And no, I didn't visualize my dream fone, just to let you know what is coming. And after next yr no one would be able to say anything with regards to SE and there high-end fones and expect better things from the other brands within SE for more.
As well word is going around that 2 cyber-shot fones will come out next yr with optical zoom. As slowly SE will be integrating optical zoom feat. into the cyber-shot line up, and will become clearer in the coming months ... leading upto 2009.

Talking about this CyberShot, I thought the management doesn't stated a stereo speaker as a development goal? If that's true, Komiyama-san has a really different vision. Hope it's true.
And regarding C905, I suggest to buy a brown version that released later, rather than black version that released earlier. Can't told you why, because I'm quite unsure about this info too.

Well, as for the new P series or UIQ fone, wait till Sep as every1 has been saying dats the month ...
If however nothing of substance is announced, then either you will see it in Q1 of 2009 or that the whole UIQ would be a done deal and out the door if nothing appears by Q1 so then I'd say don't hold your breath for SE to release a UIQ replacement after Q1 as it wouldn't materialize.
Since like I said my main interest is Cyber-shot and not the other brands. So you will have to wait and see.
There was supposed to be a UIQ ver. of Cyber-shot but that was also cancelled. Next yr however you will see a totally different platform on SE fones, the new A300 or A3 and newer hardware to make things run faster.
Next yr however SE wid regards to Cyber-shot fones will be releasing only 4 models as I have come to know that the branding will be on mid to high end sets only now and you won't find any low end set branded Cyber-shot. You will see 5, 8 and the new 10MP fones branded Cyber-shot of which 2 will have Optical Zoom embedded in them.
However a more clearer picture will come to the fore after Nov...

was just reading the c905 white paper-it says that the video call function has 16 x zoom-same as the main camera.
is it possible that seen as there is no visible video call camera that video calls are made with the main camera? |

I was wondering what q's or months these new cybershots will be coming about, preferably the 10mp with 3x zoom, i do not want to be investing in a 400£ phone when one just round the corner will be better |

To do or not doing that is your choice. Brown is better, but feel free to buy the black one, because it's already good too. The different lays around a build concept revision.
Don't ask me further, because I can get wrong. They may do this already in black ver, who knows?

I heard Micks says if everything goes as planned, announced Q2, and released 2 months later in Q3. But again, if everything goes as planned. They can delayed it, based on market condition, especially C905 sales. Can you reconfirm it, Micks?
As for now, better to buy C905 first. They need starting income, right? And I has a a habit to changed my phone every 1 year, and your C905 can least almost 1 year. If you wait for this 10MP, you can be forced to wait again if you hear a new phone, and ended up to never buy a phone

I've been dissappointed since their plan about CMOS sensor on future CyberShot. Can you ask your friend to makes suggestion memo to incorporating SuperHAD CCD into upcoming CyberShot? Just look at Sony DSC-T300 or upcoming T-700 in sony.com
Imagine if the sensor are the same.

I thought he means VGA res (640x480) video, encoded using H264. HD res means 1920x1080, which is quite too fast, even for future phone. But if SE implement Full HD, that's what I called innovation.

Tech gadget always improving fast. Now we can say it's a perfect phone. But let's say 2 years ahead, and we will find out that these phone is outdated. Human are never satisfied, always looking for a better one.

I don't disagree with you. Trouble is the reality is different to the ideal, and SE are no better nor worse than any other OEM in this regard (well better than most, but on the same level as Nokia, Samsung, and a bit better than Moto)
There are virtually no Windows phones that have it all.
SE hasn't had a true all-in-one since the K700 (in the non-smartphone segment), and the P800 in the smartphone segment.
Nokia's only potential all-in-one is the N95, but only if you compare it against non-smartphones. In the non-smartphone segment it has no touchscreen so can't be classed as an all-in-one. I know people will argue this, but without either a qwerty kyb or touchscreen the N95 cannot be considered a smartphone all-in-one.
In the non-smartphone segment the C905 is very close to an all in one class device and not that far from the ideal. Also, SE non-smartphones have the best java implementation of any other OEM. Many people laugh at this but you have to actually explore the java platform on an SE phone to realise how useful it is. The SE implementation is revolutionary for a non-smartphone, and on top of that there is a huge amount of choice in java programs giving pretty much the same types of add on support as a true smartphone os. (one of the few shortcomings is the lack of call management type software, of which only Symian is currently capable. Not even WM has this ability)
So I guess what I'm saying is the feature creep in modern phones has accelerated to the point where no OEM can keep up. We are probably beyond the point where we can expect any OEM to produce all-in-one's like the good old days.

lol all this talk about oem's makes me want to build a fone myself just like my computer. I wonder when they will start selling seperate parts for mobile phones |

WHAT! The K700, an AIO. It had a VGA camera, no gps, wifi, 3g, this couldn't have been an AIO. It may have been pretty advance for its time, however, this still doesn't make it an AIO. The C905 would be the first SE phone to be an AIO as it has a feature list that is the same or greater than the n95 (the benchmark for 2.5 years) Pretty soon though, I reckon, there will be another feature that would seem necessary to have on phones, make a new AIO breed.
The future of technology is being able to run a bath, at a desired temperature, for a desired time, from your car, which is telling you the directions home, whilst reading you the latest sports news, it is also taking 1gigapixel photos as you drive and uploading them to google maps for street view. When you get home it will wirelessly sync, charge and start playing "harri's bathtime playlist" automatically. As you undress, you give it a voice command it to turn the oven on to 200oC and buy your wife the ideal present for her birthday between £100-150 as you forgot it was tomorrow. That is the future AIO my friend.
