I agree with motvikt, the way some of you clamming for a member to return is embarrassing. Have some self respect.
It was his decision to leave, so move on. Esato is more than just about one member. |

I'm not sure anymore if this thread would still continue dealing with rumors just like before The issue that derailed this thread have already lasted for couple of days, and if we can't still move on, then I humbly suggest that this thread be locked for a while.

Five pages of should be enough, lol.
I think the last interesting point/rumor that was mentioned was the friend of sponse, that got the honami in his hands.
As far as I remember he doesn't have it at the moment, but he will get it again, soon.
So I'd like to suggest to you sponse that your friend should measure the lentgh, width and depth of the device if he could.
We know (I think that is clear) that the screen size is 5", therefore we could see if the bezels are huge or not, or more important -> how compact the Honami is for a 5" device.
But I want to stress that "huge bezels" don't bother me, the actual specs (1/2,3", 3000mah, S800,...) justifiy this in my opinion, but to know the actual size would be good to know anyway.

Tablet Z successor at IFA.
Triluminos 1200p screen
S800
2 GB RAM
Thinner and lighter than Tab Z
Same battery capacity
This came from a very good friend of mine who gave me the samples I reviewed before I deserve not a single credit for this.

She hasn't told me of anything else but I think It'll be launched alongside Honami at IFA, maybe that tablet could also use the accessory lens?

Embarrassing is an understatement. We've had members come and go here for years, nobody has begged someone to stay until now. There will always be someone else to leak, as there's always have been. Let him go if he wants to leave, can't have people running around here feeling irreplaceable.
motvikt
+1. Nail on the head.

This may be a bit OT, but I haven't found any profound review until now about the screen quality of the Xperia Z Ultra.
Does anyone have found measurements of the brightness in cd/m² and contrast ratio, black levels and so on?
In my opinion this would be relevant here in this thread because the real value of the Triluminos screens in the other upcoming devices remains unknown, this could give a good preview.
I'll update if i'll find anything..

^Well, nothing yet, as it is still not out and Sony still might not have given a final prototype for the tech blog reviewers. All you can read and hear is that they are praising the screen of Z Ultra, so it's a good thing.

"praising the screen"
I like to hear that
But:

So we theoretically should already heard something about it, at least in India
Found some german review, but no measurements.

^Watch some video and read article previews, they indeed praise the screen with the usual PhoneArena bringing up the now non-existent "viewing angle problems".
We'd have to wait for a little while, probably a week or two for a proper review of the phone. |

We’re also looking at uplifting some of our other devices running 4.1 direct to 4.3 – we’ll share more info / deets / timings when we can, so be sure to follow @SonyMobileNews for all the latest.
So Can 2012 users have some hope of getting 4.3? Xperia S users??

Also looking forward to that. The Triluminos screen on the vaio pro seems great. Hope to god it's not just another marketing ploy from Sony. Sony should beat HTC at least in the screen department |
