@viper - good luck with your results mate! I'm sure you'll do fine. What subjects did you do?
@brownjs - mate, I'm a bit of a PDA authority . The iPAQ may be considered the standard for PPCs, but the 3630 is a discontinued model with only a 12 bit screen, 32mb RAM, no expansion slot and only a serial cradle. I am assuming the new 3900 series iPAQ is out of your budget at over £500, so here are some options:
-Audiovox Maestro. Only 32mb RAM, but nice and small, good screen, nice build and 2 expansion slots for mp3s and stuff.
-Toshiba E310. Smallest PDA (easier to carry around!), an SD slot, and fairly cheap.
Hunt around for some deals. If you're going to America, get one out there - they're a lot cheaper. The Maestro can be had for $250 inc. rebates!!!
www.expansys.com - expensive but know what they're on about
dabs.com - the reverse
microwarehouse.co.uk - ok
amazon.co.uk - limited...

Check out some for sale posts there.
www.brighthand.com has a good UK discussion board which recently had a list of good retailers - check that out.
Hope that little lot helped

Ed> thanks mate have tried disabling the firewall but still no luck, have tried and can connect to some of the servers saved in the program (like ftp.microsoft.com) but it just won't connect to ntlworld. If you could send me the settings that'd be great.
