OK camera does remember settings like scene modes but it goes back to superior auto when you exit camera. But it does remember what last scene setting you were in

As for now it works.
Many resets and homescreen data wipe.

What is great is the UI, Camera...

Niggles:
Camera doesn't remember settings once fired up
Timer doesn't allow seconds setup only minutes and hrs
On the lockscreen - no option to see sms, unanswered calls.

I am afraid to reboot the device since the problem with launching apps etc.
If this problem will persist I will have to hard reset this baby.

Otherwise the phone seems so good..

@Sean72 Does the XT with the JB Update have the Stamina Mode option like the Xperia Z?

Definitely smoother once you remove the weather widget from home screen. I have just sent a text to myself(sad I know) and the text did not show up on lock screen. Hmmm Sony need to release and another small fix for all these fast. The battery is my only real concern

One other thing I just noticed is the back speaker seems louder. What is this new thing called Clear Phase?? It says automatically adjusts internal speaker but which speaker?? For calls or back speaker??

It may be the speaker for talking.

Removal of seconds in Timer settings is idiocy.

Have to admit I'm concerned about the battery life, with ics it was great but now it seems to be dropping quite quickly
Also I'm getting some force closes from the walkman widget, anyone else getting this?

Not sure about the Walkman widget yet. But one thing is as the battery goes down it drains slower. Also whilst on standby my battery regained another 2% battery life. Odd.

Yes that's exactly what happened to me, right after reboot.

Apparently - they worked so long and again, released half-baked product.
It's really annoying.

yep I'm a touch concerned about the battery as well to ve honest, I'm very close to going back to ICS and staying there for a while.
normally after getting up at 7 by now 3 pm I would have about 50/60 percent seems that with jelly bean I have 27 not great hey!

@Del,

I also got the walkman bug the day I updated to jellybean. Then it worked ok.

@Sean72,

If you remove the album widget, the home screen will be alot more smoother as compared to the weather widget.

--------

I would suggest you guys to give your phone a few days before thinking of going back to ics. Jellybean is a good update even if it has couple of bugs. The battery is very inconsistent. But I think it may get ok after say a week? Also I am dissapointed they didnt give the stamina mode to T which was released a couple of months before z. Its getting ridiculous especially when you read about the jelly bean update for s2 posted today on gsmarena.
