Maybe the difference in price between Hallon and Arc is that they aim at different group of customers ? Those who want and can afford a flagship buys the Arc, and those on a lower budget buys the Hallon ? It that way SE ensure more customers. . . . . maybe  |

If they think, that´s the way to ensure more costumers they are mistaken. I want the Arc but to pay 200.- just for design and bigger screen is ludicrous and cant be serious!
But as we all know SE falls for every possible stupidity! |

Err it will be using a SGX543/3 and not the Mali 400. |

Orion SoC has the Mali 400, ST-Ericsson U8500 also has the same.

In some ways it shows that even  accepts Arc only has mid range hardware 
Their flagship have same hardware as their mid range phone. |

Bert made an interview in SVD here in Sweden (couldnt find it online so Ill will just write the highlights)
-Just 4 android devices 2010 which was bad, 2011 ALOT more. End of 2011 android devices for 70 euro.
-They need to hire 400 developers
-He knows they have a loyal fanbase for nonsmart and simple phones, and they will come.
-When asked about a sony ericsson pad, its sonys department but we have some interesting stuff to show in Barcelona.
-He couldnt care less about cheap phones |

Interesting. So we can look forward to plenty more Android phones for this year and a return of some of the much loved A2 based handsets.

haha, love the line about cheap phones, awesome. And the rumour about Apple is they are going to INCREASE the iPhone 5's price lol!!
Looking around I can't help but think the Arc is going to be good value, it'll have a premium price for sure but I think it'll be at the lower end of the sector so a win win for everyone. But I'm no analyst. |
