Just got it today, have to say it is amazing! I havnt found any flaws with it yet! A tad bit slow i must say but its a great phone! And it is smaller then i thought it would be!
9/10 from me!
Need a faster processor but its fine:) |

can anyone tell me if the uiq is slower to respond than a P1i?
as i am considering the converting the p1i software to the w960i's but not if it is slower. |

hydro - have you debranded it? When I did the 950i it made it so much better |

Yeah definately debrand or change to GW1, even if you can't see any branding when it comes to updates for CDA/1 and /2 they are released first
Check here if you haven't already to change CDA for free!

Yeh, no branding at all on my w960i No papers or anything from 02, and no stickers on the phone
Took out the warranty as always on it to so if the w980i comes out i cant switch it if i want to  |

that's great news. i plan to upgrade to this in cpw o2 but it says my contract needs to be in its last 2months. it won't end until july. any suggestions?
by the way, o2's charging £89.99 for the handset with the £35 monthly rental. how come with vodafone it's free? is it because it's locked in vodafone and it's not locked in o2 (hence cheaper)? |

I've read here that the Vodaphone one is unlocked, I don't know how true that is.
I've ordered mine from O2, when I get it (Tuesday) I'll test it to see if it is unlocked.
I got mine for £30 1000 mins, £50 for phone 18months.

The w960 is definitely unlocked from Vodafone - check by doing jog dial down star star jog dial down

Just get a P1. Same music quality (just get different headphones) and better build and stylus. You can get a 8gb card too. |
