Smells like rumor to me 
Would be kool though, though games for the 360 will me made to run smooth on the specs that it already has, so the extra power in the console would never be used.
If they made the games run nicely on the new system, they might bog down a bit on the older systems.

I'm just waiting for mine to happen lol, had it about 2 years now and it's had loaadsaa use, was on for 12h yesturday and today has been on since 9am.

I just switched on for the first time today and the pad wouldn't connect? Rebooted and got the RROD. Mine's about 18months old now. I'd played gta for a few hours last night. Nothing out of the ordinary. I'm gonna ring ms tomorrow. Only worry i've got is that i've broken the seal under the front face plate. It's never actually been opened. Just me mate did it when trying to nick my face plate. Does anyone know if there are any other seals inside so they can see it hasn't been opened? |

Well i just did the x-clamp on my 360 and it didn't work...
So i took it off and got the RROD again... Put it back on and my xbox is totally dead... No Power up... Nothing....
So if anyone wants a New TV lead thingy, PSU, Joypad(wireless), ummm PGR faceplate and Keyring (boxed like new), a Samsung DVD Drive or anything else i haven't thought of let me know.
