Lifes journey is not to arrive at the grave in a well preserved body, but to rather skid thru sideways shouting, HELL YEAH! THAT WAS A HELL OF A RIDE!

@ Wanqa
By the way my friend gave back the R1 to his Uncle in one piece and now my friend is back on his Aprillia Rs250. A couple of days later his Uncle wrote-off the R1 on the William Nicol, but his Uncle came out with just a few injuries apparently someone in a BMW jumped a red traffic light and my friend's uncle crashed right in to the BMW. Sucks, anyway he has ordered another R1, he didn't have insurance on the other one so i think he has learnt his lesson to insure such an expensive bike.
Some great pics there boet.

Some Moto GP bikes taken with the P1i:

Not a Moto GP bike, but the one next to it certainly is...

@ Jojo,
I'm not big on parties; the mrs and I went to a great restaurant instead, and we visited close friends of ours last night to celebrate too.

Now Jojo, hold onto those Y-fronts, LOL. Thought you'd like this pic, even if it didn't come out too well at all ie. blurred a bit etc, not helped by the pictured platform rotating, but I thought you wouldn't mind... :

@ Gucci,
Eish dude, glad he's still in one piece. Love the look of the new R1.
I also learnt my lesson the hard way re not insuring a vehicle. I had a Beemer back in '99 and was involved in an accident with it. I was OK; the Beemer worse for wear...and I couldn't get a cent out of the culprits.
Never again will I drive an uninsured vehicle.

Here's one for the Terminator/Mad Max/Batman/ Robocop wannabe's.
Take one radical 2007 Suzuki B-King, convert it into a trike and then do it up further like this... just don't ride this to meet the parents of your chick for the first time ...

Complete with Transformer-type helmet, LOL:

Yep, poefie does happen... i'm sure most of us have had some narrow escapes but our luck held... not everybody is as fortunate though. I'm lying here with both arms wrapped in bandages. Managed to slice both forearms to ribbons when i shoved a fist through the windscreen of my cousin's Corsa earlier this evening. Got a call from a motorist who came across the accident scene on a quiet stretch of road just outside P.E. My cuz, who was as close to me as my brother, and his wife were broadsided by a Golf which must've been zooming. Did some zooming myself because i got there just before the ambulances and emergency vehicles arrived. Had to smash my way in thru the windscreen to get to them, used the closest blunt object i could find, that being my fist. My cousin's wife had been killed on impact, and he survived only as far as the trauma room before being declared D.O.A. Even though we're sometimes the most cautious of drivers, it's the other guy whose carelessness leads to loss of life. To think that my cuz had never, in over 10 years of driving, ever received a speeding fine, and some guy comes along and takes two lives just like that. It sucks.
I'm not superstitious, merely mildly stitious.
