Gents,
Anybody knows what the price tag for the P800 would be, and where to buy there. Please post so that I could compare price.
@gowin,
Good question, wonder if it's possible. Eager for the answer too.

To use a PDA with the P800 is redundant. Sobra.
But am going to miss a lot of apps (and games) from Palm, this is going to be a big drawback for me. Hmm ... would it be possible to run an emulator with P800 so it can run palm apps?
if ever an emulator comes out, i believe they could give Palm a run for their money - and budget-willing, am going to give up Kulasa immediately

This is my problem as well, I just sweared allegiance with my T68i but am already fantasizing about the P800. Saw a picture and the touch screen LCD and higher color resolution.....(salawahan ba) |

@*, as a PDA, the P800's success will depend on applications. if these applications i use for my ipaq will find their way to the P800, then end of story for me. that very important application is called Pacman. |

If se manages to come out with the ability to run your palm or ppc apps - se is going to have problems meeting the demand for their product.

Guys, is the P800 on the Symbian OS? If so, how is the application support so far? I guess we'll have to wait and see if this will replace my Ipaq+T68i combo. |

Hi,
Anybody knows anything about the Symbian OS the P800 has, because I read the other day that Microsoft is pushing it's Pocket PC Platform to the mobile arena. I see Microsoft as a big threat to any OS developer so what do you think about Symbian "hindi kaya maiwan sa ere ang P800 OS". And one more assumption is that MS will never ever support anything for the Symbian OS |

Check out this link: http://www.symbian.com/news/2002/soneric-p800-2.html
Let us hope they out do Microsoft with the mobile arena or they don't get bought out soon. You wouldn't want to see you P800 with a blue screen and telling you to "press any key to restart" or with a "fatal exception error" message.
@Gowin
Nokia 7650, how do you rate it compared to the T68i?

For me, a pda/phone combo has to have these features: 1.numerous 3rd party sw (as i'm a software junkie) & 2. Power/speed to run those apps. Otherwise its just a glamorized addressbook & notepad tablet.

After all of this talk about Symbian OS for the P800, it lead me to a question what OS does our T68i run? |

@mozilla168
If you wouldn't mind, I'd like to add to your list the self-upgrade OS wherein we download the patch off the net. And multi-tasking of SW apps running. |
