Very nice. I have a some comments:
"Each link will take you to a photo of that location which was taken by a New Zealand member using a Sony Ericsson camera phone."
I think we should change this to 'Esato member' because I would like members from overseas who visit NZ and take photos with their phone to submit links too.
I'd also like to see more use of white space.
I'm viewing this on a 19" 3:4 monitor at the local library ATM and it fits the screen well. It also looks great on the iPhone.
Perhaps the links could be written in the colours of the rugby provinces? Navy Blue for Auck, Burgundy Red for North Harbour, Yellow for Waikato, Black for Wellington, Red for Canterbury, Blue for Otago, for instance.
You've put in alot of work already M-O and are doing a great job. I really appreciate it.
Thanks for the suggestions! I have changed the explanation to say "Esato members" now and I will work on getting some white space in there soon. I guess I got a bit carried away with the colour scheme, and I see what you mean! I'll have a go at getting the provincial colours in too.
I'm glad it looks good on both the iPhone and the library monitor. I'm hoping that the few changes I made to the HTML code in both the 09 Portfolio and our New Zealanders threads mean that it looks fine on almost every screen and browser now.

Thank carkitter for the idea!

That sounds great! So long as it is taken with an phone, give it an upload to the Esato camera phone photos section and I'll come find it when I've go this thing rolling properly!

Thanks mate! We try! I think we'd all agree that you South Africans are the same!
The first page is incomplete at the moment but I hopefully will have it up and running by the end of tomorrow! Today was about cosmetic changes.

Perhaps we should all move to Whangarei were 1GB/s Broadband becomes available tomorrow.
Whangarei web now faster than a speeding bullet

Andre Hueber
Whangarei businesses will have access to faster broadband speeds from tomorrow through a super-fast fibre network link.
Telstra Clear has been working with lines company Northpower since May to deliver faster broadband services via a fibre network to Whangarei's central business district.
The project has boosted Telstra Clear's network capacity by five times, enabling businesses, schools and hospitals to send and receive information at speeds of up to 1GB per second.
Residential customers will be able to access the faster broadband in mid-2009. more...

Thanks yea g! I think I'll leave the map at the moment, just because it could look a bit cluttered with a background on there after we've finished with it. We'll see how it looks.
Wow 1GB/s broadband! Not that I'm complaining about the speed I get with my current broadband, but I definitely wouldn't turn down that kind of speed!

I wouldn't. I would like to remind you that SATA is 3GB/s, Ethernet can get up to 1GB/s and fibre optic can get 100GB/s

Yeah but doesn't it still depend on how damn slow your computer is?
