I have this problem with my s7 wherein it will not accept a file via bluetooth/ir for example i still have 5MB space on the mem stick and from another phone i'm transferring 4MB of MP3 file, phone will not accept it and givies an error message of "no space left free some space" knowing that i still have 5MB space on the stick or when i try to bypass the mem stick by removing it and transferring the file again on my phone using its own internal memory that has for example 10MB space it will not accept a 4MB MP3 files and still having same error message.
I have corrected this problem by resetting/reformatting the phone but after sometime it happened again..damn(do i need to reformat the phone again and again to rectify the issue?). Is this common or have you had experience this kind of problem? Do you have any other solution or suggestions you can share? Thanks in advance!

What size memory stick are you using. I remember someone saying that on the larger sticks a certain amount of memory is used for file management of the stick.

I also noticed on my s7 whenever i changed SIM Cards other that the one i'm using right now...i'm getting an icon(Barred "not accepting incoming calls/sms as well as i can't call or send sms") on the upper left corner right next to the signal meter. It's shows the network of my SIM Card and my phone is openline. Is there any settings that i can do to take out that "icon" so that i can call/send SMS? I have reset all the settings on my phone to it's default, no go. I have tested 4 types of SIM Cards(All Active) it either shows the "Barred icon" or "Inactive SIM" to where it shows the network name on the desktop. Thank you in advance.

And the sim works in other phones but not your S700? Your phone is unlocked to all networks right? |

Hey guys I'm considering in buying this phone. I need you guys' opinions on some things.
1. Is the s700a better overall than the new w800i or k750i?
2. Does it feel comfortable in your jean's pocket?
3. Is the speaker clear when playing music? Does the speaker shake and distort?
4. How big of a difference is there between the 1.3 of the S700a and the 2.0 of the other two? Is there really that much of a noticable difference?
thanks for your replies. |

On 2. Yes.
On 3. Yes and No.
On 4. Not much but K750 pics are better. |

Ooh okay. Which one would you recommend on buying? Since the prices of the three are similar, i can get either one. I was first attracted to the s700 because of the design, and it is certainly something I can show off with to my friends. The w800i looks really compact and small, probably really light, PLUS it has loads of memory. I used to own a t637, and I thought that phone was just so so. |

The s700 is a nice phone. If you dont really need more then 128mb memory(1cd of mp3's in high quality). The pictures are noticebly better on k750 but you can still get good shoots with s700.
You will notice the thickness difference in your jeans, its not alot but its there.
Both are good phones but i like the style on s700 more.
Buy both?:p I did!

Have you tried searching for that particulart operators network. CONNECTIVITY >>> MOBILE NETWORKS >>> SELECT NETWORK
I really cant think of any other reason why it would bar one particular sim. |

yep, i have done all of those things, all i can think of is to bring this phone on a repair center so that they can personally look at it and see what the problem with it. I think it's not with the network it's with the phone.

Oh okay, so pictures are noticeably better on the other two? One of the main reasons i want the s700 is because of the HUGE screen, looks really cool. The screen on the other two are so small. I assume they are equal to the size of my old t616. So..any more ideas guys? Also, it looks like my friend will be getting the s700 also, and i wanna be a little different. |

This phones rocks.
But the memory expansion limit of 128MB makes it sucks. I wish it can take up to 1GB memory stick. |

You can always switch out sticks. 128 MB + internal = 160.
Not too bad considering the V3 having 5MB total and no external possibilities.
I love my S710 and waiting for it's sucessor, with hopefully a 3MP cam
and expandable memory 1-2 gigs.
I have never had any crash issues , Feezes , ect... and there isn't a firmware on it as of yet.
Here are some nice S700 pics.....
