Actually, no Not from Mobilvasa, bought it on Tradera from a guy in Västerås, 1800SKR, not cheap, but I got a brand new phone and all the accessories in the box! FM-handsfree radio, two belt clips, one swivel and one regular, desktop stand/charger with wall mounting kit, accessory protector (plastic sleeve that cover the bottom connectors on phone) Two aerials, regular length and omygod-this-is-long-one
Itīs a behemoth of a phone! Weighing in at 325 Grams, battery is a 4V/1600mAh NiMh one.
Oh, and dig this drawing from the manual: How to clean your phone.
(donīt try this at home with your SE-phones kids! )
Cheers!

@bart: The only thing keeping you from getting a R250s Pro too is SKR 1990:- Mobilvasa has(had last friday) 9 left..
Boba: I am not intentionally going to put it to any survival tests, if they were still easily/cheaply available i might try to drown it and stuff, but as it looks today i donīt have the heart to scar it when itīs brand new..

I have one T66 and one R380s on my webauction list actually
Donīt know if i will bother with the others as they donīt mean much to me.. I look for unusual/"milestone" models and/or phones i have owned once and has served me well. I donīt know if thereīs anything special about T10/T18 that I donīt know of, but give me a day and i will find five of each for sale, which in itself is an indication that they are fairly ho-hum models? I might be wrong and miss something here, but i have the impression that they are/were not very special?
EDIT: Just did a search on swedish site "Blocket.se" found a guy who has two T18 and one T18s all working SKR 300:- for all three..
Also Mobilvasa has T18īs for SKR 290:-
Onother guy has a yellow T10 for SKR 150:-..

I gave my a1018 to my nephew to play with it and learn the first steps how to use a mob. I do like that fone, only the rubber keypad doesnt fit the design of /// imho.

Maybe, but not uncommon/expensive either, found three A1018s for sale immediately.
If i remember right they were not that expensive even when new?
What I mean is: AFAIK Neither the A1018s, T10 or T18 were top of the line models, or models with unique features, like fx R250/310s?
The T66 and R380 are both interesting to me because of their obvious unique features (T66 - size, R380 - "smartphone")
That said, i wouldnt hesitate to buy any ///-phone if i stumble on it and get it practically for free, but phones like A1018s, T10 or T18 are not on my "to-do-list" so to speak

Don't know much about it, but I saw one A1018s with the Ericsson logo in the back. It is unique maybe. Have not seen other models with the logo in the back of phone body.

its unique for its changeble covers, and you can use it without a simcard.
hmm other uniques phones. A3618 is unique cause it was very limited, it didn't even get out on the market here. it was the first ericsson with changeable backlights. later replaced by the R600. both phones were made by the same company (T200 was also made by them).
what about R320? first ericsson wap phone

The A2628s/A2618 also had the logo on the back.
And the later models had a 1400Mhz battery wich lasted for ever. Very good keypad, good form that made it fit in your hand very well. Ideal really-heavy-use-talking all the time phone, even today.
And interchangeable covers. It was at the time that the 3310-covers-craze was all over and Ericsson apparently thought they should jump in, but is was not really a success even though the 3310-cover-craze lastet a couple of years longer. I think this failiure made it clear for Ericsson that they should stay away from that market segment which they did.
I'm sure the A2628 could have been a succes if it had been on the market a year earlier. | |
