are you a bit of a dumb ass? People buy a air for a different reason they buy a mbp, it is aimed at a different demographic which are not looking for speed and super high specs
Nope, I never said anything about a MacBook pro. I was talking about plain MacBooks. You can get a normal MacBook with the same or slightly better specs for cheaper. As far as I can see the only reason you'd buy a MacBook Air is for looks, but then a normal MacBook looks amazing anyway. In my opinion the higher price-tag isn't justifiable.
I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't lash out at people like that. Especially people who try to give you good advice when you need help. I'm starting to think maybe your flatmate is an asshole to you for a reason.

Alright man, I apologise for my previous comments. I wasn't insulting Paul though, more just having him on a bit. So sorry if it was offensive to anyone.

Unlimited as it may seem I am sure there is a clause in there that restricts you from using it as a modem for your mac. I am sure there is a fair usage allowance normally around the 3Gb mark.
But otherwise it is possible.

There is a fair usage policy i think or an excessive use policy but i just want to do it for the 'occasional' use and to see what speeds i get lol |

Yeah go for it why not, as long as your paired the phone the modem drivers will be built in and its pretty simple.
