The green device in the back? that is probably a Z3. I am not talking about the device the person is holding, which is mostly like a dummy device since the screen looks unrealistic. |

^I know but still with reference to the legs the one at the back looks big. |

Can't use a person's legs as reference when you have no idea how tall or big they are. It's a Z3, the colour and design point too much to the Z3. It even has the flap on the side for micro USB.
Until REAL evidence of a Z ultra successor shows up, there is no Z ultra successor. And by real I mean photos of a Sony device beside some released device to compare size. |

No, I don't think that Sony Ultra-series could be continue this 2015, IMHO 5.5' maybe max Sony's offering.
The trend go bigger and bigger is already gone, market seem less response for ergonomic reason.
I would say 6 inches device this year could be limit to some vendor as well, probably chinese one.
instead more density more bezel more anorexia thin thing could be key continue
but I'm not sure what happening with LG's the ultimately thin bezel trend leader
according to latest G4's leaked it clearly see thicker bezel in all dimension
but it also can't judge from only prototype device.
As long as tablet-compact still play a role in Xperia line-up, I don't think the Ultra would comeback anytime soon.

@HxH
Reality is not a trend anymore when more and more consumers replace their 3-5" phone with 5.7"-6" display phones and keep buying new once for the last few years and this is not going to stop. sony has nothing to offer for people who wants to buy a phablet. last time i checked tablet compact has 8" display and is not a smartphone - totally irrelevant to a phablet (big smartphone) seeker. sony COULD increase main flag display size to 5.5" and that could be an answer but they are not going to do that according to the leaks. z4 will have 5.2" and if that is the case then there is a place for a phablet smartphone in sony's z line. |

^At first I thought it is a prototype device because of the frame....
But I was a little bit confused about the magnetic port
Now its just another Z Ultra without the frame..... there goes my hope for the Z Ultra successor

A certain UK network have an unannounced Sony device in for product testing. I have no idea on which product it is or spec however from what I've been told it points to the Z4 but I must stress that is based on an educated guess. If it is the Z4 then it all points to a May/June release as per previous rumors.
New product in network testing XR5
Chances of it being the Z4 XR3

What about Z4 tablet LTE? Release is due for June timeframe, and the network can be also testing it? |

Hopefully it is the Z4 and a May release would be welcome. |
