@norbi_nw: The WLAN mod, works great on my P1. Got it from persian forums modding section. That mod is really making some difference...

@kit513: My P1 knows to slow down a bit, but it doesn't annoy me at all. Anyway it may result in having many contacts in the phone...

Hiya, is there any chance you can PM me those links? Also does anyone know if Fisah Labs Rally Master Pro works on the G900? I can download it for free from the Fish Labs website but it doesn't have any UIQ phone in the model selection list.

well Rally master is working, but like counter strike on a pentium 200Mhz... also try persian forums for applications. no need for PM just use google: persian forums.
I have a problem with my G900. I installed an application on the memory stick, and i deleted it. now when i restart the phone, it asks me to install it again (the window with application name, and install button). How do i remove it completely?

Thanks Norbi, so I take it Rally Master doesn't work? And you'll have to look for the files on the memory stick of the programme that it's left, or re-format the memory stick? Use a PC and use a browser window to look. I can't remember where the files get put but they'll be on there somewhere.

And on UIQ3.3 coming, well their have been rumours but unfortunately I doubt it, my UK customised firmware phone still hasn't been updated.

EDIT: Well I downloaded the rally game from that persian forums and it opens and runs but crashes when you try to start a race. I'm not quite sure about hacking my phone just yet.

well it waas more complicated than that you see i needed to delete D:\private\102020xxx so it's not that simple

EDIT: hacking? it's very easy and a MUST. it's untraceable, so if anything goes wrong (phone breaks or something, you skip it, etc) you can update and all is gone you need it to run programs. it's very very easy, and in 1 minute it's done. No big deal, and you can't mess up the phone. no chance.

I'm thinking of getting a G900 (UK) but would like to know if the phones here are not the dodgy batch that people have been complaining about. Anyone in the UK have a G900 and where did you get it from?

If its too big a risk, i'll go for the G700 so are these built properly, anybody have one? I can only find it on Play.com but not sure because the UK website doesn't even have it! Am I going to be stuffed if I get one and it cocks up?

Anyway, I need a UIQ for work; my K770 just can't cut it. Some people say that CPW has it but I can't find a G900 anywhere. Some help would be much appreciated.

I got my G900 from CPW in Milton Keynes about three weeks ago. There are three stores in MK and only one had them in stock (any store can check which other stores have stock).

No problems with my handset so far...

I brought mine from expansys, great phone, couldn't be happier with it. It is NOT built like a P1i but it is smaller and MUCH easier to use, on mine the battery cover just doesn't quite sit flush with the plastic cover at the top of the phone, i.e. doesn't quite close properly, we are only talking about half to one mil though. But the phone so far has held up very well, it feels heavy enough and the keypad is nice to use. The keys around the edges are ok but could perhaps be better made.
But I personally feels it's made very well, I've had a P990 then got a P1i, and whilst the P1i is better built, mine has several dents in the metal where I've dropped it! My G900 just has a small scuff mark on the battery cover where I've dropped it already (Need to be more careful) so I am much happier it's plastic and not a metal hefty brick.

Anyway:
