Is it the same in your country?
Some people pay more money for a T39/R520 than a T68 or some other newer, pre-owned phone.
In the Philippines, that seems to be the case most often.

@gowin - I agree ! It was just so 'unfortunate' that the T68i's has 'reconditioned' ones (models) sold in the market, unlike those of the T39 and the R520, wherein you really have to find one . . . |

The phone has had a colorful past. As far as I know, it has been previously owned by at least 3 other esato members.
Firmware is R4A008 with a 27177 flip count.
PS
I don't consider flip counts as any measure of "abuse" or light handling. It can be reset by anyone who know what to or who to approach.

i am now a happy T39 user
this officemate of mine had his T39 eaten out by a Labrador and a kid (not sure though if the same time) which causes the dilapidation of the antennae and had some teeth marks engraved on the flip.
donor forumer 619 gave me a T39 case with antennae and after a trip to a local service point, i now have a perfectly working, nice-looking, T39 |

Well my friends, my romance with my T39 has ended...
I was on hollidays in Brazil and get my bag with my phone inside (and other stuff) stolen, so I'm again without mobile phone...
Sigh, why is it so complicated to get a good t39 to buy ?!
Happy new year to all anyway...

Can't find a t39 here in Argentina, so I think I'll buy a used t68i, that's the best I can get here !

The appeal of the t39 is quite different from the t68. Getting one is difficult because it was not popular like the t68. This is probably adds to its appeal: there aren't many around using the same phone.

You're right, but I can't wait too long and here in Buenos Aires (but I think it is the same in all South AMerica !) it's impossible to get one. When t39 was launched there where no GSM here. Some people managed to have GSM phones, that's why a guy is selling is t68i.
