Great pictures rmcrys, very colourful. You might not want to add your name to the pictures though - more often than not when you edit a picture and save it again it loses some quality, and more jpeg compression becomes obvious (more blurry, pixelated in places, noise around objects).
I tend to simply post raw pictures, since even Photoshop and neatimage leave some extra "crap" that wasnt in the original.
Some pictures from York, England:
Including the Minster, which i wish i had taken a shot of in B&W, to make it look almost gothic.
More soon..

@muffin: Nice picture!
@etaab: I posted my "nick" because Iīll post full pictures in another forum, so I had to copyright them.
@Manuel_max: next time shoot some girls in that space and take longer to see the "object" to donīt rotate so much.

Some photo's taken of the Tall Ships race on the leaving parade from Newcastle. Just a pity it was such a horrible dark rainy day.

I still can't get all these setting right, bloody EV and white balance.
1st shot had night mode on accidentally, second has cloudy settings because it's been raining all day, that makes all the greens go wacko though!.

just wondering after lookin at the above pics taken wiht different settings, ( ie, nightmode and cloudy etc) does everyone change these settings regularly while taking pics ? because i have left mine on auto and max pic size and fine settings, and all my pics, in all types of conditions have been perfect, just wondering if you think that changing settings benefits your pics, coz im quite happy leavin it on auto so far.....some great pics on this forum |

IMO it does matter.
The most important white balance i think is the cloudy setting. On dull days pictures can come out dark, blurred or even have a blue hue. Its very important to use the cloudy balance on those days. I knew that from experience of using the white balance on my Sony Cybershot cameras.
