 That's really interesting. I must admit I haven't known a lot about Islam before.

Very occasionally and not in huge loads in my city... Maybe once or twice a year. But the further south you go, the more snow you'll find. The North Island doesn't get very much snow as far as I know. Oh and New Zealand is well known for its ski-fields if you're into that!
Anyway, it snows in June, July and August which is our winter. Your best bet would be July I guess! But the weather is funny, there was a report on the news earlier this week of snow down south, and we're just about to hit Summer!

Haha yeah, I think I experienced a bit of snow when I was in London. Not sure though... But the weather was definitely bad!

Oh right. I've been all over the South, but not much in the north. Mostly Wellington. And Auckland airport once!
