My point was that Esato is the main source for Sony rumors and if people continue to tip PhoneArena we will not have any rumors at all.

Yes, you are absolutely right! And this is the reason I requested people not to tip sites like PA or else they can forget rumors altogether in the near future.

Already we have lost two sources - zomgbbqftw and spectre51 from XDA. I believe unknown13x has also stopped giving out info because of the very same reason

We have to lock the rumours thread with a password. To get the code you have to answer some questions like fitting few Codenames to the final ones and naming 3 canceled SE phones okay, shitty idea, but it won't be possible to avoid spreading info from here. This happens for years...

Hahaha Time to create a private forum. Anybody interested
Anyways, did anybody notice that Xperia E is the first Sony (not SE) to have white front glass to match it's colour?
I hope it will happen on Yuga/Odin but the leak photos says otherwise.

Yes, E has full white body. I like it.

Anyway guys, let's move on. Hopefully the "tipsters" won't do it again.

How about the moderators, the pros (the ones that we can really trust, who works in Sony or have a connection from the inside), and randomuser (since he started the thread) share the infos, rumors, and leaks to themselves first and decide which ones to hide (and then reveal whenever we deserve it ) and which ones to share publicly in this thread. Because even without the tipsters, I'm pretty sure some of those PA guys and the other guys from other "techblogs" are already lurking in this thread. As a daily reader of some of these blogs (to be honest), once an info is shared here or the other forums, it takes days or a week before the blogs posts what them tipsters had given them or their "researchers" had been able to dig. Limiting them the big infos might save our guys and Sony's works from careless and unhealthy internet disclosure.

Also, I do not agree bringing the big guys from other forums here. Because if they are all here and share all what they have, we'd have a rumor or leak more frequently and those inconsiderate writers from those techblogs would feast on this thread and mindlessly let loose their loots to the world.

Just my two cents, please don't hurt me.

Unfortunately, once any information has been posted in this thread it is in the public domain and will probably be read by most tech sites. That's just the nature of the internet. It can't be controlled.

However, more importantly it's still only rumour and it normally gets reported as such.

I know it isn't exactly the area of most "leakers", but anyone can tell something about the software side of things? How is JB going to be different from what we have now? What you know about the update for 2012 line?

I think Sony can use this one.

http://www.fudzilla.com/home/[....]57-tegra-4-to-come-at-ces-2013

Faster than S4

"It looks like Tegra 3 won’t be getting a replacement this year. Despite the fact that multiple sources close to the matter report that the chip is getting close to production, it won’t be launched this year.
Nvidia will unveil Tegra 4 at CES 2013 followed by more design win unveilings at the Mobile World Congress in February 2013. Tegra 4 is the likely name of Wayne chip that according to Nvidia’s Tegra roadmap is supposed to have ten times the performance of Tegra 2 dual-core and twice the performance of Tegra 3.

Both the graphics core and CPU will be significantly faster than Tegra 3 and the next Tegra in line should get a lot of design wins in 2013. Wayne will be compatible with LTE modems making it easier for US telecoms to launch phones based on next generation Tegra.

Tegra 3 got at least three significant design wins this year, including the Nexus 7, the most important of them all, Surface RT and HTC0s One X and X+. Samsung appears to be the biggest competitor for Nvidia quad-cores and beyond, while Qualcomm can also put a lot of pressure on Nvidia with its S4 line.

We are hearing that Tegra 4 ends up significantly faster than S4 in most areas and benchmarks. We don’t know if Wayne is fast enough to take on the iPhone 5’s A6 processor, the one that dominates the benchmarks across the globe."

Anything Tegra is also ridiculously painful for developers though, because Nvidia don't like releasing drivers.
