slider is good. quite solid. try get one with latest build date. further into production better the quality gets imho.
gps and wifi strength are pretty decent for a phone

i'm getting only within 700kb. but not wit original driver. i have dirty_rodriguez v2.0 driver.
i'll try with original driver and confirm it.
and today i tried opera mini over wifi connection pleasently i worked. i don know the prblem earlier when it was not working. the signal strength was low that might have been the problem.

I guess you mean 700 kb (kilo byte) and not 700 mb (mega byte). |

ya sorry i realized that.. its 700kb now i changed the driver and i'm getting around 2.8mb
might be the problem with driver..
and after a week of use now my silder seems still solid. but i noticed a very very lil wobble if i press the activity button(left side) but not the case with "C" butoon(right side)
anybody observed this??
and as of now no hangs no restarts. i think the quality software.. hope the camera will be improved on future firmwares

Sad that radio doesn't work in bluetooth headset as it lacks antenna.
And why se made the walkman button with no feedback at all? Bad.

About the camera. When I press down the camera-button half to focus, the little frame on the screen turns green, and then there is this beep-sound. Is this sound supposed to be there?
Isn't it because the camera can't focus?
If I press the button all the way down instead, it's not there - it focuses and takes the picture - no beep. |

The beep means the cam has finished focusing.

u can set it to OFF but the real purpose of the Auto Focus is lost. i't will result unfocusse images...
if u press the cam button halfway then it will adjust the focus(lense) to the object that ur intented to capture
if u have enough light then the focus grid and "DOT" will become green upon sucessfull finishing of focus then u have to press the button all the way to capture with out moving the camera/object.
all AF cam's function in this way. so make the AF always ON or macro for nearby objects use fixed focus of distance objetcs... |
