@burner8
I've just noticed that Twilight portrait mode with Red Eyes Correction has higher iso than with Auto flash, so you have a choice.

it's because of too much sharpness |

no it is a different noise. The noise from iso400 loose details, the noise from sharpness loose no details, you can cliean it with software.
ISO400 pics lookeld like an oil-paint.!!!
Noe, i hope you understand, what i mean. |

try this
#SET_REG(43,28) // FLASH_CC_R = 0x28 (colour temperature of 5700 K for flash)
#SET_REG(44,6A) // FLASH_CC_B = 0x6A (colour temperature of 5700 K for flash) |

ok, i have 2.7 and 3.3 drivers and yes, compression settings are diffrent but real difference is somewhere else in major settings: i see bunch of different contrast and exposure values in NORM_MODE, Nightportrait, Portrait, Twilight_landscape and Landscape
Kopritis driver has lower values, your driver has higher contrast (which also affect on brightness) and in some profiles also higher exposure compensation value
conclusion:
this is the major and only reason why your pictures are a bit overexposed (brighter) which also affect on colors. compression is innocent

your wrong, until u get a k800i and mod the camdriver urself u will see what i'm talking about and tell me i'm write , for now go back to living in the past and modding the k750i camdriver and stop calling me a lier |

dude, do i have to show everyone differences in code between your 2.7 and kopritis 3.3? are you blind or what? i can point you step by step where are differences in two drivers especially in contrast end exposure compensation. i even wrote: show me proves for your thesis about compression - you didn't, but i can show you proves
how can i remove overbrightness? by reducing contrast? no! by changing jpeg compression file size... you just roxx!
for now go back to living in the past and modding the k750i camdriver
pal, i finished my modding job with full success, many observations and huge knowledge about driver and camera work. i wish you the same but you don't want to learn. to be honest K800 driver is far away in modding process than K750/W800/W810. the way how you're thinking is the past... do i need the newest spade to dig the hole? i can do great photos without 3MP. probably you have never used K750 with supermode functions
stop calling me a lier
you mean "100% compression"? you have right to not understand some things, so i've pointed this to you yesterday. i'll correct you again - right sentence is "max. 100% quality"
respect different people if you want to be respected, criticism is nothing bad...
everyone... i'm sorry that you have to read this...

i still strongly believe the compression can control exposure and colour in some way and if u mean COM_EVENT(55,01) 01 does nothing same as 00, i know this because i mod the driver and i have the phone it's completey different from the k750i driver when u get the phone and try it for yourself your see what i mean. i have used a supermode driver i used kriomag on my old k750i i had no idea how to use cause i'm no good at photography.
i say 100% compression cause that what i put in the driver, max. 100% quality is probley more correct yes but i put 100 in MIN MAX & AVERAGE so i just say 100% compression.

i could do more if i knew the command event for the k800i's shutter speed, but i don't and it's not #COM_EVENT(04, |

ok, discussion is useless
number1 mate... learn, discover, observe, improve your knowledge, make many and precise tests, don't be afraid of big changes (if you have to reorganize 70% of code then just do it) and first of all: have fun from this
if you want to do small step into supermode world and have possibility to observe in realtime camera reactions on parameters changes i can help

i have kind of come to the end of my knowlodge and ran out of ideas, i do try many new things by trial & error, i would like to have a go supermode but first we need a EM mode for night, i looked at the EM u created for the K550i driver correct me if i'm wrong but most of it is just caluation, then u got COM_EVENT(04,00) which is the shutter speed, the k800i's shutter speed isn't COM_EVENT(04,00) it's something else unknow. |

I on the other hand do not understand the code of camera drivers but what I have notices is that 3.71 is not as good as 3. 6 i dont have the bandwidth to share the pics unfortunatly but imo its not good at all compared 3.6 i have went back and forth comparing them.... and at the end i went back to the stock R8A drivers because i was more then happy with that drivers compared to 3.71, 3.6 is better than stock drivers but this is all too confusing and too frusterating to keep playing with lol. please let me know when ithe 100% great driver is out, untill then i believe that 3.6 is great.
