And what kind of application can you set as wallpaper? Are there any?
If so could you post a picture?

here the application download from here :
http://download.yousendit.com/04FBF2DA67298D17
it's from SE developer world , unzip the jar file (slideshow.jar) then install it in the phone memory in the application folder , then select it from settings>display>wallpaper>application .
you can select the jar file from application folder also to make it a wallpaper by pressing more then wallpaper.
but one thing annoying it's always asks to allow to read user data.

Don't hope to much for SEUS updating our phone. Let's just enjoy the R1BC001 and do something else. Having a week vacation, perhaps.. |

I'm a little confused and I admit, I haven't taken the time to read through this entire posting. Am I correct in thinking that there are now two files to upgrade, the standard firmware and the EROM? Am I also correct in thinking that whilst Wotan have developed a solution to update both, SE are struggling? Surely that can't be right and I've mis-understood.

I just upgraded my K800i firmware to R1ED001, I also noticed the bug where the menu item turned into strange address names. And it happen randomly, so far, I have only encountered it once.
Now I am able to use videos as ringtones, was this option available before R1ED001? |

Yes the random stuff was mentioned a page or so back and yes the video ringing tones was there before and is mentioned in the user manual.

@leerichards
There are two upgrades now for the K800i via Wotanserver.
R1ED001 is the latest firmware and R3A016 is the latest EROM.
EROM I believe acts like the BIOS does on a PC: helps with the boot process and should help eliminate those dreaded WSOD that have been reported when people turn their phones on.
When you attach your phone Wotan will detect that your EROM is out of date and automatically update it for you for free (so long as you have a credit in your account). Takes about 10 seconds and doesn't overwrite any data on your phone either. |

interestingly, the funny code thing would occasionally appear immediately after i flashed the phone. since i powered it off for charging, i haven't seen it again. hopefully that's the end of that... |

hi all - just wondering if you can help me out with something - i just upgraded my k800 firmware and forgot to back up my phone, so i've lost all my contacts/settings/texts/etc.
i have found a backup from a while back of my old phone called K750.MS - it's an XML file but i can't find out which application i used to create the backup.
can anyone tell me what phone sync/backup program creates files of the .MS variety ?
cheers,

Just a question, has the new firmware allowed different ringtones for incoming video and voice calls? Correct me if this was already possible.. cause i cant seem to find where to change it... |
