@ gola,
Like my fellow colleague the Kryptik One, I'll try preserve what's left of my sanity by sticking to primary schools, both here and in SA, even though I've got the oldest kids in the primary school, who I really enjoy teaching.

@ Hobbster,
Ya, hopefully it only does take from the announcement next week to being available by June...
When I think how long it's taking the W960i to appear, as well as the P990, P800 etc, I'm amazed that the P1i came out so comparitively early after its initial announcement.

Cellphone PAYG price drops here today, from the C.P.W.(all unlocked and unbranded), when bought with £10 airtime:

Nokia N73: £124.95 (approx R1750)
Samsung G600 (5mp) £179.95 (approx R2600)...how's that for quick depreciation?
Samsung U600 £89.95 (approx R 1260)...more rampant depreciation...
K810i £129.95 (approx R1820)

Not too shabby...

HEY hobbs cell c has the t650 from like last month, convince her to change to cell c it's eeeeesy and plus cell c isn't bad i use two phones for the last two years and i find cell c and mtn to be on par except for high speed internet....cell c has edge only but still their edge is reasonably fast....

kryptik thanks for that mxit but unfortunately couldn't test it yet lol my
n95 is gone BYE BYE it was irritating me with too little ram and some small issues like earphones giving up etc so now i'm using the d900i and a imate jam,but i should be getting an e65 to replace the d900i and replace the imate with a t650 hopefully....

wanqa what's the prices of t650 out there?one of my friends family is apparently the owner of a very big wholesale group there in uk so i can now get uk phones here dirt cheap....maybe i should start retailing on esato, bid or buy etc.....?remember bout a month ago i got the u700 and 6110 navigator for three grand ,managed to sell the navigator alone for r3000 in the second day that i had it...r2400 for the u700...

@ Falcon,
Like the N95, the T650i's holding its value much better than virtually all phones here; even the new W910i is now nearly the same price as the current T650i price. Oh, and just to illustrate it further, the K850i is only £20 (approx R280) more expensive!
They go for around £240 (approx R3360) on eBay and £270 (approx R3800)from either Carphone Warehouse or Mobilefun...
Eek.

To tell the truth hobbs it was also the size of the thing putting me of,yes it's small for the features but still i want slimmer phones because i carry two all the time.....

rhino that t650 is about style with RELATIVE good functionality...most classy phones cant do much well...take samsung for example, stylish and slim and good cam,but that's it!!a samsung really is a DUM phone in my opinion!u cant even minimise an app, that's bull!!!!

Dang, hope all the other padded envelopes arrive at the various destinations in SA (and The Philippines)...
So far only The Kryptik One has received his, albeit in near-record time.

W O W Guess what, today I went to check my Snail mail box and voila Under tonnes of ads and rubish I've discovered 2 ROYAL MAIL packages. One from AMA and the other from 786 (ordered keypad for my busted n73). The SA post office earned 101 points in my books as of today. Now if the HongKong package gets here before the weekend I might be back on the N73 and return (against my will) the N95 THANKS Ama, Nice surprise you got me. Sorry for been a bit 'over the top' with you on occasion. I hope you stil remember my offer if you visit J-Bay. (A Braai boet a braai) Mind you, I am still waiting for Krypta to make a turn (or 2) to the J-Bay station for a tee/coffie . . . and he is only 75Km away
Anyway Tx once again
Greetings from Jeffrey's

Sounds like the padded envelopes are making its way down the coast Wanga.Yipeeee! @mario-Why do you have to return the N95? And whats the damaged for all the spare parts for your N73? @falcon-you confuse me when it comes to phones.I played on the samsung d900i on sunday and i hated it just as much as the samsung u700.u held onto to your motorola v3x (which i hated as well) even though you had a nokia n95.you got rid of your n95 and held onto the d900 even though you had the Navigator nokia 6110 which you sold for no profit..whats going on dude? lol you a cellphone schitzophrenic lol I like having just one unit.

Will do that soon Mario, the school holidays are ever so close now! @ Hobbs, it's ironic that you ask, i had a long chat about the local addiction situation with our family doc today when he popped over to collect some translation work i'd done for him. It seems that it's taking off quite alarmingly here, mainly because the local dealer have started giving away "starter packs" of tik and heroin to youngsters, most of high school age. The market in rocks is booming, with the bulk of his drug-related patients being in the 20-35 year age group. One of the biggest problems which we're facing at school level remains the use and sale of the happy weed. It's becoming par for the course to have the cops conducting searches, bringing in sniffer dogs, etc.
I'm not superstitious, merely mildly stitious.
