@ Brixster,
Ya, how the mightily expensive have fallen indeed.
@ Hobbster,
LOL, yeah true, that. To quote a line from Jamie Uys's legendary SA movie, The Gods Must Be Crazy: "It's an interesting psychological phenomenon." LOL.
@ bradboy,
Howzit boet. Good to see you around these parts again.

The K660i has the cool looks and data speed essentials, but that's about it really (IMHO). For some people, that'll be enough, or perhaps even as a second phone.
But eish, don't we become so demanding when there's an ever-increasing array of features that come out as standard, on modern handsets these days...
@ gola,
I'm a primary school teacher, so I teach all the subjects, although Art, Design and Technology, History and English are more my forte.

@rhino8 - Welcome back matey . . . when it comes to F1 races . . . I just made a small NOTICE about those personalities (old and neophytes) who are joining the Ferrari Team. I honestly believe that the Ferrari car itself is INCOMPORABLE compared with the REST, considering they have ALMOST the same specs: ENGINE and all (V-10 standard as part of the rules) etc. etc. I think Felipe Massa is ONE of the oldest riders in the F1 race He is NOTHING (winning NOT much compared at present), but when he joing the Ferrari Team . . . he is making some achievements . . . I see no other reason for this EXCEPT with the car he is riding ! Reubens Barrichello (an ex-Ferrari driver) who used to drive with ferrari is making pole-position-finishes when he was with that team year past . . . but now, when he joined the Honda Team . . . he seldom or DO NOT visit even the 3rd podium finish during the last season (perhaps there is ONE or TWO )
I know that WHOEVER joins the Ferrari Team (driver) will surely resuscitate HIS driving career (old or new) . . . because the car really does make WONDERS (woman ) ! Now, I was wonderin' what if: Lewis Hamilton started his career with the Ferrari Team
@pop - My predictions with the November 15th 2007 fone (features) releases are that:
1. It can make calls (local & inetrnational) . . .
2. It has keypads for EASY texting . .
3. It illuminates in the dark for night time use: LCD and keypad
4. It does vibrate . . .
5. It has a camera . . .
6. It has a radio
7. It has an external antenna
8. It is valued so expensively as with the trned on al fone models during it's initial release . . .
*I'll BET my neck here that these FEATURES will be available !

I think ive convinced my boss that the t650 is the phone for her upgrade.she likes the green version and i think its a pretty good choice going from a k700i to a t650i.she was interested in some of those Z-series clamshells but when i checked out the cash price of some of them they were a bit on the cheap side-eg Z610 was her first choice but it only cost R1800 cash.I thought since its an upgrade make the most of it.Some people dont care much about the specs of a phone and its heart-breaking lol R1800 whats that going to get you build quality wise.hope that t650 is available at MTN.

Hobbs, was that you i saw on the news this morning? Long-haired dude in Seapoint last night, swinging a blazing tyre as (silly, imho) part of the Guy Fawkes celebrations?
Wanqa, i'm not sure if you gave high school teaching a shot, either here or there, but this much i'll attest to- you need hair on your teeth!! I lectured part-time for a year while teaching high school full-time for a year, decided that i'd try to keep my sanity since i'd already lost my hair within the first week Teaching primary school kids is far less stressful, by a very long chalk, lol
btw, i managed to get one of those penlight-battery powered chargers, even had to use it when the power went down during last week. Works like a dream
