lol kryp's.Thats hilarious The one cousin with the N80 has an upgrade due December and she's honing in on the TYTN II.Im so jealous but I dont even think its here yet.I could be wrong. She wont even consider looking around. She has the HTC blinkers on.Dont blame her.I think if my upgrade was due I would make the same choice hands down. The E90/N95 8gb wont even tempt me.

Go gola, go gola... LOL. Best of luck with those last 2 exams, boet.
@ Hobbster,
E90...not tempt you? That UIQ3 'second wind' /renaissance with the P990i has really emancipated you from the Tractor Beam effect of The Dark Side's E-series flagship, methinks.

@ JC,
Good luck to you as well with those exams, boet.
Dang, Im happy that I'm finished with all manner of exams...
Even as recent as a few years ago, I had to do a good few tests here to achieve full UK/EU Qualified Teacher Status on the Overseas Trained Teacher programme, even though I had to also pay for an agency to validate that my teaching qualifications in SA were on a par with those here!
I also had to study for and pass the British Citizenship test earlier this year as well...
All behind me now.

@HOBBS: Samsung's are popular because they're cheap and they are marketed quite well...tell me the last time you saw a big billboard for any phone from SE? When was the last time SE sponsored a popular tv show like Heroes?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Some of the speculation around the gPhone appears to have been off the mark...in fact it was not hardware but an open-source software platform that Google has been developing with other partners under the unbrella of the Open Handset Alliance.
Not suprisingly and Nokia are absent from the list of backers as they've already got strong (UIQ?) OS platforms in place. Over at Gizmodo, readers have been panicking that somehow they'll have endure ads whenever they used their cellphones.
If Gmail is anything to go by, I say bring it on because in reality the ads are non-intrusive and they're contextually relevant.
BTW, I like the new K660.

Ridiculously cheap, especially when taking into account what they used to go for:
Expansys here have again dropped the price of their remaining (brand new and unlocked) W950i stock, now only 144.95! (approx R2030!)

How the mighty, or in this case expensive, have fallen. They're probably just clearing up stocks to make way for the W960.
