I don't think they make it anymore =). 256 colors, mophun, IR, gprs modem, no java, no BT.

Hehe...AIrtel charges just 199/- for mobile office in Bombay circle ...as good as free for unlimited web access

@amd i've no idea, i'm not much of a phone junkie =).
@mrao can you give me some tips on how to enhance the speed short of throwing away my phone and getting a new one.

@amd...i wouldnt think so...I used to have my k700i mostly on modem mode...but it nevr gave me any issues in functioning as a phone
@blu...dunno mate...have you tried an edge enabled phone...i hear speeds through edge is pretty good...unfortunately no  phnes with edge

@blu,amd,Mtnl gprs charges 90rs. For 5 mb.Subsequent 10ps./kb.also 100 mms free.Nokia 3510i is out of manufacture.But as far as edge is concerned,it is only for wap and downloading purpose.not for surfing.

@m will edge be faster than my 256k cable connection? Is 40 kbps the max limit 4 gprs?

256 k connection is broadband...edge wont be faster than that..though i believe its comparable to a 128k connection..i think debu can testify for that 
Q2...dunno about max gprs speed..again the specialists like shyam, gov or debu would be able to answer that...although i think youve probably got it right at 40k
