Laffen probably didn't know it was illegal until you said that.

Just voted at my old primary school. I was surprised that no photo ID was needed at all. I just walked in and they asked if I was me, I said yes and then I voted.
Excuse my untidy handwriting. It was hard to write on the upright board.

Auckland is the erm busiest place here, but there are plenty of tourist attractions scattered around (eg rotorua). December over here=summer, so yea, I guess it will be a bit warmer (maybe)

Definitely come in Summer mate, and to be honest I couldn't pick the best area. I'd say hire a car and make a road trip around the country! Make sure you at least see some of the South Island though (most people just go to the North Island).

There are Mosques in the main cities, I believe. I'm sure there's a New Zealand Muslim website that you could have a look at.
The prices I think are generally cheaper or about the same as the UK. I know things like petrol and groceries are certainly cheaper here.

I don't think most people fly direct, but usually its 12 hours to Singapore (common stop-over), and then another 12 hours to NZ.

Some of those don't look like New Zealand, but a few are. I've definitely seen a few in Christchurch where I live.

I found this website. Canterbury is the province that Christchurch is in. That website could be useful cause it has a forum.
^^That is Christchurch Mosque.
