The Back light works fine its just there is now text on the screen at all

U mean no text on the screen? Thats a problem. Can u make an upgrade? Hope its not a serious bug and the hw of the fone is ok. It isnt a proto, dont u?

Question for you /// experts... How can you tell that a T68 doesn't have the T68i software? Assume there's no sim card in the phone so all you have to go by is the service menu... Cheers |

U can recognize it on the menu colour if one of the 4 original is set, u can check the fw aswell.

@boba, there are a number of UK ebayers selling T68's in the gold housing - I want a non upgraded T68i model. Would a simple "laymans" question to ask sellers about their T68 phone be "Does your T68 have the Tetris game?" (assuming they're got a sim card to test the phone with) |

Simply by seeing the shut down screen, even with no SIM. T68m shows animation of the Earth. |

Yep, all the buttons work, and there's a physical click against all the buttons.
BTW, wasn't that the biggest /// logo ever on the back of R310s? |
