ok, we've had a little rest for this topic, but I'm getting fed up keeping this topic clean from personal remarks.
you are welcome to respond to posts with contrary opinion/facts etc.
you are also welcome to ignore posts you feel are of no value or interest to you.
You don't have to feel that you MUST reply to a post that you don't like or agree with.
At this stage, for this phone, alot of what anyone says is conjecture, opinion, etc as well as stated facts and personal bias, and so there will be (is already!) much to discuss and disagree on, but lets keep it clean please.
any further direct personal remarks will result in that member receiving an immediate 1 day ban without warning, so consider the content of your post carefully before clicking submit!

The last hands on was pretty slick. Dont you think the homescreen looks a bit meh? A proper theme, a few widgets should add to the beauty. I like the idea of 3 homescreens with widgets. |

I don't mind paying for "Beautiful widgets". But what I really want in the theme is an option to change the blue to something else. I really, REALLY want a black/ grayscale based look to the existing UI design. |

I think the blue theme suits the white X10, while grayscale based look would suit the black one better. |

Engadget is hearing things there. Nothing official. Its only engadget hyping it up. This thing is to be announced in MWC.Lets wait and watch.
Who announced that it was going to be announced at MWC? Haven't we had this conversation before? Sorry, but that in itself is hearsay, and I don't take it as any more official than whatever engadget have heard.
How "official" is the February date for the X10? Isn't that all hearsay and hype too?
There is no official acceptance of the February date at I checked!

I'm also a fan of the 'Black' theme idea... What I have always used on any device... |

How about turning the screen off. Then you get a nice black based theme. |

Have you noticed that in new prototypes, when they change filter in timescape (sliding finger across the screen ) the stack of the events arrives as a wireframe and photos are loading after everything is on place. In previous timescape builds, the "blocks" were arriving already with photos - I think, that's why the new build seems faster...

But with 1GHz, the phone should be capable to handle these animations even with the pictures/music/... and play them smoothly.
The best mobile phone brand died with Sony Ericsson's death. Shame on you Sony for killing it! And, of course, for ruining the Xperia brand... Mediar's Site |
