you are right, but i prefer to have a better video quality with a zoombug which i not see, because i don't use it.
it is better, as a bad video quality with a not used good digital zoom.
@Raiderski.
this settings give a little bit better colours. That is whar is important for me.

what exactly do you mean by "better"? it's being repeated as the mantra. do you really see difference? can you prove it with really serious test? do this. my proposition for jpeg encoder parameters:
#SET_REG(19,5E)
#SET_REG(13,84) #SET_REG(14,03)
#SET_REG(17,34) #SET_REG(18,03)
#SET_REG(15,58) #SET_REG(16,02);
place this in seq_set_prop_5_8 and leave your setting in seq_set_prop_5_9. you will be able to switch between compression settings with camera menu not by replacing whole driver. if you'll use auto white balance, remember: auto WB system is working all the time that's why colors on first photo can be different from colors on second photo. that's why you should wait some time after camera open to stabilize WB or use non auto WB

@Raiderski:
i said, that it is a little bit better. It also can be a fancy.
I'm searching the settings to have better colour and more contrast. Black is often grey. Can you please please tell me, where i have to search?

i dno but for some reason gives better colours it just does
#SET_REG(19,64)
#SET_REG(13,64) #SET_REG(14,03)
#SET_REG(17,64) #SET_REG(18,03)
#SET_REG(15,64) #SET_REG(16,03);
#SET_REG(19,5E)<<< why 94%
#SET_REG(13,84) #SET_REG(14,03)
#SET_REG(17,34) #SET_REG(18,03)
#SET_REG(15,58) #SET_REG(16,02);
i would also like to point out
#SET_REG(19,64)
#SET_REG(13,7A) #SET_REG(14,03)
#SET_REG(17,7A) #SET_REG(18,03)
#SET_REG(15,7A) #SET_REG(16,03);
that increases the exposure of the picture just a little, u can see this in my 7.6 SE driver

this can be:
1. a bit too slow shutter speed (exposition time)
2. too high contrast
3. exposure compensation above 0.0 (in seq_set_prop_0)
very often and common is 1 because shutter speed calculation is automatic and every black "spot" is interpreted by phone as "too low light - decrease shutter speed to catch more details". after a lot of tests with various contrast, brightness and exposure compensation settings i gave up. overall, i gave up and i left contrast 00, brightness 00 and EV 0.0
you must like this pity gray issue

#SET_REG(19,5E)
#SET_REG(13,84) #SET_REG(14,03)
#SET_REG(17,34) #SET_REG(18,03)
#SET_REG(15,58) #SET_REG(16,02);
file sizes are alot smaller about 600kb-750kb, colours aren't quite as good thats all i noticed,
#SET_REG(19,64)
#SET_REG(13,7A) #SET_REG(14,03)
#SET_REG(17,7A) #SET_REG(18,03)
#SET_REG(15,7A #SET_REG(16,03);
that makes the picture overexposure and i'm 100% certain it's that and nothing else |

a bit better colors, a bit increased exposure...
i would like to see comparisions to authenticate these thesis. first of all, can you post some photos (original size) taken with your driver? i think that "fancy" word used by burner8 is right. of course i'm fully able to change my opinion but i really want to see proves
quality 94% because (in my opinion) this is max. reasonable value for max. 900kb photo, i don't believe in quality near 100% in 900kb
colours aren't quite as good thats all i noticed,
can we see any proves?
that makes the picture overexposure and i'm 100% certain it's that and nothing else
so, you're saying that jpeg file size rule at 890kb will make picture overexposed? sorry but what jpeg file size rule has to do with exposure time? don't you think that this is ridiculous?

http://www.esato.com/board/vi[....].php?topic=155278&start=30look threw the first couple of pages theres quite a few test shots, comparing 2.7 to 3.3 the only real difference between the two drivers is mine is using #SET_REG(19,5A)
#SET_REG(13,5A) #SET_REG(14,03)
#SET_REG(17,5A) #SET_REG(18,03)
#SET_REG(15,5A) #SET_REG(16,03);
it causes overexposure try it in any k800i camdriver it will cause over exposure |

Great combination, but I noticed some overexposure in daylight shots in Auto mode and underexposure in Twilight portrait mode with flash. |

Thank you, The reason for the underexposure ist iso250. iso250 has more details and less noise. If it is to dark for you, use PhotoFix or PhotoDj.
The overexposure in auto-mode at daylight i see sometimes too, but i can't understand, what the reasen is?
I use the settings og 2.7 - 2.7 must also have this over-exp, or not?
Perhaps, we can find the settings, to fix it?Has somebody an ides. Perhaps i have made a litte mistake? I'm not a profi. |

I think that it would be good idea to leave Landscape portrait with flash at iso 400, and if you want low light indoor shots with more details and less noise, you could choose Auto mode with flash.
