There is no listed driver for 6030 in PC Suite. So it tells me about 70% that 6030 may not has GPRS modem. You can confirm it by serching in Menu for GPRS option & Access Point.
Or
Directly ask by going to this link http://nokia.co.in/nokia/0,,28161,00.html . If you get answer as "Yes" then it will surely have GPRS modem.
By the way, if you want non-camera phone, then go for Nokia 6100(Bluetooth is not there). I don't know about SE.

BTW Nokia is telling that 6030 has no pc connectivity.But it is there with port...So doubtfulll.................Will wait for more...

Is the any AIRTL Super sim or dealer sim like that???? It says free sms and life long validity and ordinary TT...Do anybody know about that??
More than that AIRTL 99rs pack for 20 rs. with 50 rs. TT...
i cant believe it.Why they do it in Kerala. |

hi guys,
i need ur help, I have got .A*T*L LIVE activated. But i cannot connect to the net though opera. I am a little confused i have nokia galary wherein i can connect through the server through A*T*L LIVE 2.
that is after following all the steps in your thread. I seriously dont know what i am asking. Is there anyway i can reset on my configurations on my cell. my opera version is some 6.something. I followed all freworld steps in thread but i stil cant use opera, it says services: cannot access remote server. At some instances i can connect through A*T*L LIVE 2 and some i cant but i can never through opera. Tell me if i am atleast askin the right questions. Please give me some suggestions as to what i should do.

Check you settings.. And hey if you are using a series 40 phone .. Then let me tell you that the opera browser connects itself to the opera server and then downloads all sites.. So in order to surf.. You need to have the full Gprs working.. |

My web browser can not download any page. But connection is ok. In desk bar one light glows. Computer receives only 275 kb. Gives can not find server.

When ur connecting on PC, trying opening a bookmark on ur phone browser, then it will give acess denied error. Now keep the phone down and enjoy on pc.
Do the following changes in Internet Explorer > TOOLS > Internet Options > connections > Settings > Proxy server select it, Address 100.1.200.99 port 8080 > OK

If one light glows then there might be 2 reasons.
1) You haven't opened a bookmark in ur phone after dialling the dialup connection.
2) You got connected to a idle server. You can solve this problem by reconnecting the connection. |

Special Notice to All visitors of this Thread :-
I found that almost all search Engines Index this thread in high priority when we put "Free GPRS on [A*R*EL]". So this will the danger bell to us  . So from now on, we will use a special codename for the same "[GTEL]". There should not "A" in this. So "Free GPRS in [GTEL]"
You all know what I mean. We will try to edit the Thread name by requesting to a mod. |

Hi dear, Plz first update ur Opera version in phone. In Opera 6.x, you have to enter proxy address and port number in [Opera] settings menu. But this has been cleared in Opera 8.x. So plz first update ur Opera. Now 8.6 is out. If you still don't know where to download, I will give u link.
I think you are using Nokia s60 phone. Otherwise tell me wich phone u are using.
