SMS limit in K750 are 210 where it was 100 in K700
To syncronise with lotus notes you need a special syncronisation software, the phone is only supplied with syncronistation software for Outlook for free.

I got the SE K750i yesterday... GREAT phone, great camera, fast menu, nice screen...
However, my k750i which i got on o2 (upgrade) is so squeaky, its like it hasnt been screwed together properly... has anybody else experienced this problem on their k750i? when i squeeze the back of the phone or the front near the camera shutter it goes all creaky! any ideas how to fix this? would a simple screw tightening do the job? It is manageable, but i would have thought such a feature-packed expensive phone would have had some more quality control!

It looks like the K750 is on its way to being a smash hit. has announced it has had to increase production to cope with the unexpectedly high demand for this phone. Good show.

Got my K750i today!. Unfortuantely it's going straight back as I found it elsewhere £25 cheaper. One dumb question though, the site I bought it from told me to charge it for between 10 - 14 hours!. Do you really have to do this with new li-poly's or whatever they use these days?. How long did you guys give it on it's forst charge?, also did you charge before using it?. |

yes, you do have to charge it before use, no matter what anyone says.
yes, you do have to charge it a full 10-14 hours, no matter what anyone says.
Remember, you spend alot of money on this phone, you want it to function well for a long time. There is no point in getting 12 months of greaf because you are impatient and want to save a few hours.
Better safe than sorry so if for no other reason then do it just to be safe.

For those which didnt do the initial charge properly can do the charge again.
Let the battery completely drain, then leave it to charge for 10-20 hours.
Your apperntly supposed to do that with every so often. |

I have called SE and asked about this initial charge issue, they stated that it was enough to charge it for 4 hours. They also said that the 12 hour charge thing was only necessary for the old phones which had old batteries, not the new ones... |

Yes because battery chemistry was different in old phones, they had ''memory'' whish means battery charging was very serious,if you mess with it the battery will remember the ''bad'' treatment you gave him .Today batteries are far more tolerant

Does it really say that in the manual? Because if it does then that's gospel as far as i'm concerned. If Sony says four hours then four hours it is, it's not as if they would print false info in the manual is it!. |

Have ordered my K750i upgrade from my O2 online contract, was sent this morning and should be at my home by tomorrow!
However I am working away from home at the moment and won't see it till Saturday at the earliest!
I have been reading some posts on here about the bugs etc that have surfaced in the phone and have noticed that a lot of users seem to be using O2 branded firmware!
Does this mean that I will most likley be experiencing these problems? (Freezing etc)
Does anyone know if SE are working on firmware at the moment that is adressing these problems?
Will I be able to use the Sony Ericsson Update Service to update my firmware even though it is the O2 branded firmware?
Thanks!

No need to scare people with advices for NiMh batteries which do not exist anymore! LiIon batteries don't need this at all, I haven't done this with my T610 and two years later it still doesn't need more than a charge every week, so...

The only way to know is to try. |

yes, but not at soon as users with unbranded generic firmwares, because O2 will need to first get the new firmware for rebranding before they can put it on seus.
This means that some of the generic bugs may have been solved, but then O2 may ruin some of those fixes when they make their own firmwarebranding.
I know not all can avoid branded phones / firmwares, but I strongly advice anyone that can, to do so. Over times it has proved to give many problems for users.
