I should point out that interest has been around for a very long time, it isn't a modern invention.
How easy do people find it to live in a country where their religious beliefs are in the minority? Are there difficulties because that country is perhaps not geared towards one's religious beliefs?

If God help his people to its path... than God is just fooling himself.. This world is a test, the mother of all examination... its our call not God.. if you fail to see the path you know where your going.. if you pass, you are given what God promised you..
Even b4 we were born we have already made promise to go to the right path. We have already been warn that if you want to experience life on Earth.. you have to follow certain rules... it is said once sent to Earth, your memory will be forgotten and what u promise will not be remembered... thus your on your own....

The Glorious Quran, Verses 284-286 from Chapter 2 states:
To Allah belongeth all that is in the heavens and on earth. Whether ye show what is in your minds or conceal it, Allah Calleth you to account for it. He forgiveth whom He pleaseth, and punisheth whom He pleaseth, for Allah hath power over all things.
The Messenger believeth in what hath been revealed to him from his Lord, as do the men of faith. Each one of them believeth in Allah, His angels, His books, and His apostles. "We make no distinction they say between one and another of His apostles." And they say: "We hear, and we obey: We seek Thy forgiveness, our Lord, and to Thee is the end of all journeys."
On no soul doth Allah Place a burden greater than it can bear. It gets every good that it earns, and it suffers every ill that it earns. (Pray:) "Our Lord! Condemn us not if we forget or fall into error; our Lord! Lay not on us a burden Like that which Thou didst lay on those before us; Our Lord! Lay not on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear. Blot out our sins, and grant us forgiveness. Have mercy on us. Thou art our Protector; Help us against those who stand against faith."

peter kay why shud women live?what dos the quran say bout that?..i mean they cant do anything but eat sleep and reproduce is that it???....what work can they perform what shud thy were and what shud they study? what does the quran have to say bout all this?

The last time I checked Sikhism was a minority religion in the UK. I wasn't specifically meaning the UK actually, I meant anyone who believes in a rleigion not practiced or nominally held by the majority of a country's population.

Even if everyone believed in the one religion and the samd god there would no doubt be people who thought that they had a more correct interpretation of that religion or that the god was tlling them something he/she/it wasn't telling others.

why are women classed as lower then men in islam ???
isnt it that men are born from the women ?
And by the way, the sikh women fight along side the sikh men and maybe even children as they love their religion and feel it is their duty to defend it. |

last night, brownlad, you posted some picture of a muslim man preparing for battle or something, and you and solid singh, were laughing at him, solid said that he looked ugly and went on to say, maybe it's because he hasn't got foreskin or something....just out of concern, can you tell me where those posts have disappeared to?
i find it quite offensive that you would post such things, and then above else be sissy and delete them...

I personally found your posts quite childish and also offensive and I'm not even a Muslim. If you have a problem with Islam then fine, discuss it in a mature manner, but being childish about it really doesn't do you any service at all.
I'm not sure which among you are Sikhs, but I have great repsect for Sikhism because it places value on opposing evil and tyranny and defending that which is good. You really do that noble sentiment no good with such behaviour.
