I do not think this is true simply because 1.3 is not 2.0. You are getting almost double the amount of pixels in the same space. However, if the software is a bit crappie initially, I am sure SE will fix this. They are stomping Nokia now and have the momentum. It would be stupid to not capitalize on this by delivering a crappie camera phone. However, I could be wrong. Some people voted for Bush, so you never know.

I am quite satisfied with the picture quality of this phone, especially with r3k the noise is lesser in dark environment. I hope there will be some 'auto focus' program included in the future firmware (rather than implement it in k750 only). The thing i am complain is its 510 contacts limitation and 128 max MS Duo.

How would you implement an "auto focus" without a mechanical devise?

@Sappaporo. I believe the the AF is not mechanical in the K750. How they do it I don't know.

Im thinking of buying a s700i, I have a P900 now, but I don't use the pda functions. I have some questions before I buy one:
1. If you print the photos taken with the camera at a photo lab, will the result be better than a one-time-use camera?
2. I played with a dummy at the store today, but it didn't feel that solid, when holding it like you would do tilted while taking photos, the keybord and the screen moved like it would do if I was trying to "open" it. Are the keybord and the screen parts more locked together when closed with a real phone, even after months of usage? Or will it feel like your trying to hold a deck of cards?
3. I read that the screen would not be scratched so easily. Is it easy to get scratches on the screen?
4. Will it feel like it's a bigger phone than a P900 when having it in your jeans pocket, because it's thicker?

You can not take photos with phone 'open'. The phone feels very sturdy and solid. It locks open or closed and you will never hear any squeaks or rattles from it.

My S700i has started to squeek recently. Have had it since November and its rather annoying when I press the ok button. Another awful part of the phone is while the screen cannot be scratched easily. The paintwork and the case can be scratched very easily. That aside the phones great and il be sad to get rid of it when the z800 is released. |

I'm using my S700i more than my Samsung D500 again lately. Don't think I'll ever sell my S700

@amar_g
Did you s700i come with a set of headphones (dual ear pieces)? Was it delivered in a box with an instruction manual? All of your answers could have been easily found by opening the book. Not to sound hard but you are asking questions that are easy to find right in front of you.
