Hi Del,

@Ofiaich sweet, is that O2 UK ?

Yes, a UK Xperia T

Hi goldenface,

I beat up 007 and nicked it from him... so it's an 007 O2 Xperia T

Hi everyone,

found this about 4.1.2 but if anyone has a better link about benefits, I would be happy if they post it.

And yes, I will read back through the thread and search!

Hi Sean

I used the update service. Don't like PC Companion very much.

After I saw @ofiaich post I checked pcc but there's no update for me on UK SIM free
I'm beginning to feel that I might be right about the networks getting the update first again, I hope I'm wrong.

OK I just downloaded the Sony Update Serivce & it installed but when I plug in the phone it makes a funny noise and one of the drivers won't install Feck sake Sony why can't you make decent software EDIT: An update checker on Sony Mobile site also said I have the latest software installed so it is obviously not out for all yet It asked me to to plug in phone and it gave that answer

Well hopefully it should be out pretty soon then for the sim free t seeing as its on O2 there's no reason not to release it.

I can't wait for the android update!

btw, I'm having a little issue with my Xperia TX LT29i. If I use my battery to empty, it will turn off around 32%. it's okay, I always carry extra batt with me. but when I do replace the drained with the fully charged, the phone battery indicator will read right where it left off, i.e. 32%. now the battery is fully charged, it would work like @ 100%, and the phone would go down to 1% and stays there while the phone won't turn off. but the low battery warning level is still there and would annoy me every 10-20 minute or so. if I were to place the new battery in and charge it for a few minute, it would change from 32% to 100%.

Does anyone experienced the same problem? I hope the android update would fix this.

Also I tried taking Screenshot by holding the "Wake-up" button, and choosing "Take ScreenShot" and while it does work, I hate the "BACK" "HOME" and " Previous App" button that appears at the bottom of my SS. Is there a way to change that?

Are you using the same charger that came in the box?? If not then I suggest you do. Apparently this is possibly something to do with using different chargers than one supplied but I am not 100% on this

I lost my charger temporarily and had to use my old XPlay charger, and this gave me all kinds of problems with the phone dying even when there was more than 10%.

It was only when I found the original charger again the the problems stopped. It hasn't happened since. Just something to consider.

Just checked for update for my Xperia T using PC Companion and the update service and nothing available for my T-Mobile locked T. In my experience with Xperia updates the unbranded versions are among the last to receive updates (my unbranded U finally got ICS over 1 month after a lot of branded handsets got it).
