@laffen: Great, thank you very much for the confirmation. What a shame that the Komplett-guys don't know what they are talking about, I had higher toughts about them actually...

It is very cheap compared to the 3Com adapters sold by Komplett, so I think I will order one too

@james79: Yes, with a bluetooth-adapter you could use that together with the mentioned programs to transfer all kind of things to your phone. This also includes syncing the phone with Outlook and using the phone as a modem.

james, you use the bluetooth to

a) transfer files, which you have already downloaded, to your T68
b) connect your PC to the internet using T68 and GPRS via bluetooth
c) synhronize calendar, tasks, phonebook between your PC and T68

among other things

For anyone who might be wondering, most of things we are discussing here COULD also work with other bluetooth adapters. I am saying could because sometimes manufactures implement things differently, or may support a particular features that another doesn't support at all.

Just think of bluetooth as another connectivity option like IrDA or Cables - without their many limitations.

GOwin, i deliberately left the adaptor on my notebook's usb after a shutdown, turned on the notebook, and everything seems to work fine. I'm using Windows XP Pro. I have not tried it on my Windows 98 SE, coz it's still configured with Anycom.

How many of us here is experiencing problems with the adapter not working when we turn on our PCs? I have to remove and insert it again to make it work.

I think this has something to do with the USB drivers(?)

Guys, Do any of u managed to transfer pics/ringtones from T68i to your PC using the MSI bluetooth transceiver key? Let me know if you succeeded in doing so and how u did it. I'm pretty desperate in transferring files off my near full capacity memory T68i.
