I've just seen a post elsewhere on here about being able to send smells by text!! What a result, you heard it here first, by me and my idea about smelly phone covers!! Here it, when your misses phones you the case releases her favourite perfume to remind you of her!! How about that!!!! If anyone hears of Nokia or the like doing it, IT WAS MY IDEA!!! LOL!!

very costly
ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) is used in phone cases because of its high impact resistance and strength properties, and because of its injection moulding capabilities. (colours too)
The use of other materials such as aluminium or wood would weigh down the phone alot, and would cost more

i think people WOULD pay a premium to have such materials used in the housing, such as ALU, Magnesium Alloy and Carbon fibre

I would like to see phone covers made from kryptonite. That way, if Superman ever stopped by and wanted to use my phone, I would have a valid reason not to let him.
