checked with the se concept shop in sm north (cyberzone) and their latest fw ver is r2ae033.
?: my k700 "+" button on the side is more depressed (no, not the emotional kind!) than the "-" button. have no means of comparing it with other k700i's but is this normal or should i consider this as a defect of the phone?

question re R2AE003
does your k7 have MULTI character search in the phonebook??
if it has, then it's worth the upgrade
as far as i know, only euro language pack has multi-character search.. asian language doesnt support it
check yours

bought my k700i last month at goldcrest makati. i was quite surprised to find out it already had r2ae. no need for a firmware upgrade. yahoo!

triggerbokie: la akong basis for comparing coz i never had the previous firmware. all i can say is that it's stable, except for the camera button bug, which rarely happens naman.
last time i bought it, nasa 17k ang k700i. but i got it @ 20k coz i used my credit card w/ 12 months installment.

Sa lahat ng nagtatanong kung pano paganahin ung Myfreinds sa K700, register lang kayo sa yamigo.com at may settings na dun.
Question: R2AE n b ang latest FW ngayon? Pwede b manual upgrade nun as in nde mo na kailangang dalhin sa service center and use your own pc? |

anyone can vouch for the brando screen protector for the k7? for P500 medyo namamahalan ako pero i would like to avoid major scratches on the screen as well, any other suggestion. and magkano kaya yung replacement cover niya, in case i need to change it.

the brando screen protector is ok dude. a bit pricey tho considering the screen is no that big... and its not a touchscreen!

trigger thanks, but can one suggest any better alternative to the brando? also i see a number of scratches on the ir lens, any way one can prevent that.

My gf just bought a k700i too at ang FW nya ay R2AE but may mga bugs din like one letter contact search at nde lumalabas ung clock pag pushing the volume button during power saving mode 
With this shortfalls, is it better to upgrade to R2L instead of R2AE? Mine is R2AA. |

R2L came before R2AA, tapos R2AE. Hindi ka pwedeng bumalik sa lumang firmware (downgrade instead of upgrading).

hey guys paano po ba maoopenline yung k700i ko na ako lng ang gagawa any software na kailangan ko and anung data cable ang kailangan,baka meron dyan magpapahiram im from pasig,medyo mahal kc paopenline nitong unit na ito,risky ba?possible ba na masira yung phone
