Why did I have difficulty locating the files?

Maybe we should call for a public inquiry into the BBC's conduct?

I installed your buttons and I must adit they look damned nice.

Right, Ajack and gang, cheers for the top app.

Also sorry for the annoying questions yesterday. I actually posted them whilst at work, and therefore had not downloaded the files (not allowed to download at work!) And so, I had not read the notes on the zip files. I was kinda eager to get this app on my phone asap... I know I know "how sad!"

Anyways, now that I have read the files, and now that Ive downloaded 1.2b along with the 3D buttons, can I quickly ask whether the 3D buttons are only those at the bottom of the Main Shell page? Or whether there are more 3D buttons elsewhere. If there are, then Ive made a hash of things! :-I

Thanks guys

Hmmm ... on my P900 I am running 1.2 and I notice than in flip closed mode I can't access the bluejacking features.

i suppose what you mean is you cannot bring the menu to pop-up?

with SMan in the foreground,
1) did you try pressing the option button on the keypad?
2) did you try pulling the jogdial towards you?
3) did you try pushing the jogdial away from you?

??

Now you mention it, ive been noticing a problem recently, which it seems only i am encountering. every time i bluejack someone, the scanner function will hang. hmmm... have to stop, bluetooth off, bluetooth on again, start scanner to get it going once more.

@ droll and ajack

first class app seriously big respect for doing this work AND remaining free.. nothing comes close

now could i make a small suggestion?

id like to see a 'find file' utility, perhaps within the file explorer shell, seek and u shall find and all that!!

i had a file explorer prog on my 3650 and it had a 'find file' dialogue and you could do a wild card search like in windowns eg *.sis etc

so you think perhaps this is something you may look at?

anyway im really gratefull for the work you've done so far

come visit us at www.mobile9.com new but growing fast

Yes I've tried all of those, but I can't access any of the options, all I can access is a screen saying 'Sman Bluejack log' at the top.

@droll and ajack

on your site there's a quote leading to an article...

"Bluetooth's growth may not convert bluejacking into anything more than a short-lived fad. "I have to say, I'm not overly enthused by it," commented Matthew Towers, IMS Research's senior Bluetooth analyst, referring to bluejacking as a market driver

is there a possibilty that he is referring then to bluetooth as we know it right now? and not taking into account 'Long Range Bluetooth' that in affect could enable us to use 'Sman' to bluejack people up 100 meters away!!

will that be a possibility with Sman?
and also could there be such a thing built into your software called 'BlueJack Xplore' basically bluejacking a device and exploring certain accessible area of that device like a file explorer? or am i way off base!! just something thats been in my head awhile? correct me if im wrong,

respect again
