Problem with Globe GPRS (PH) |

To clarify things... there are 2 apns which globe is using:
1. www.globe.com.ph, wap access is free but some wap sites are blocked (like esato) and all ports except wap are blocked (meaning you can't access html, messenger etc)
2. internet.globe.com.ph, all ports are open, access to everything (don't know about porn sites) but you have to pay 25 centavos/kb. |

I have a t610
how can I add a new APn for internet.globe.com.ph? The one with the 25 cents per KB charge? |

@dl, you can access html using p8's internal browser and the free globe apn
@rheiary, both data sent and received are charged 25c/kb

@rizen
you can make your own wall paper at sonyericsson.com/fun then you can download it from your phone via GPRS with globe, still for free, that's what i do... |

aren't there anyone from Globe monitoring threads regarding their service? unlike in the smartnet thread?
so that they could address our concerns or just know that we have one....

fyi, smartnet is an authorized SE and motorola service center not connected in any way with smart communications. there is a guy from smart tho who does read and reply to some of the threads. read the addict thread and you will spot him.
for globe, no idea... |

globe should already upgrade or expand their gprs system to be able to give efficient service to its subscribers... i think in the meantime they are prioritizing their corporate subs |

hello everyone!
If there is no hope that POP3 will be accessible again, then... if time permits, I would love to develop an instant messenger for gprs-enabled phone for everyone to use.
Anyone interested?  |
