The bolded font is too bad......
Also, I think the user interface is quite disappointing...
"New grahpical interface"... I cannot see much graphic inside the sub-menu, also the bolded font is really bad.

The screen quality seems not so good.
The backlight is not so bright,
and it is just a STN LCD instead of TFT...

However, the normal font (not bolded) is nice (as in the Internet Service menu).

The camera is of course not meant to replace a real digital camera. It is meant for taking pictures to use in the phone or send as an MMS. The camera with 110k pixels is more than good enough for that purpose.

If you want real photos you should get a "real" digital camera anyway.

I'd rather have an overall smaller size than a camera with MegaPixel resolution.

Besides the T610 has a higher resolution than the camera on the highly praised Panasonic GD87.

It will has.

Quoted from Sony Ericsson press release:
The T610 also features the unique Music DJ melody composer, for creating MIDI songs which can be used as ring signals. This application lets the user select pre-recorded musical loops to compose a song, in much the same way as modern artists create music through more advanced systems. With Music DJ it is easy and fun to create and edit polyphonic ring signals using ¡§blocks¡¨ containing ready-mixed drums, bass- lines and melodies. It is a new type of technology and user interface that has never been used in a mobile phone.

I didn't get so much information anyway......
I am not so disappointed today as I was already before...

I think Sony Ericsson will just announce some phones which are nearly ready for production. Also, they want the existing models to have a longer life cycle. Thus, we cannot see so much new products in this time.

I think Nokia will announce some high-end phones,
including successor of 7650,
which will have some useful and cool features (like MP3 player, video recording).

nokia's offering are on March 11, right? let's see if they can get it right with a 7250 with integrated. That would be a tough decision for me...

so do you think that SE is going to present something (a prototype maybe- like the Z1010) on the Cebit - or do we have to wait a nother year to hear something about new phones?

Colors shown on the screen is not sharp at all........
Backlight is not bright enough.
I afraid the screen quality will be similar with Nokia 7210's........

I will be surprised if Nokia has anything special to show consumers. Most of their current line of phones has just recently hit the market. And the 7250 isn't even available here yet.

If they announce successors to their current line I would be really surprised. I don't think they will replace phones which has just been on the market a few months.

Also when it comes to Nokia they usually never release anything new, just small modifications. Usually a new Nokia phone means one new feature and one old feature gone.

Hi jack00,

I don't think they will present products that they are not ready to launch in the markets....... Z1010 is a special case in my opinion as needs to show something off to give market confidences.

Wait a little more time, I think a more advanced phone (T610 < ??? < P800) will be announced. And also some low-end phones.

damn you complain so much. If I had to chose between a phone that has TFT display and 100h standby and STN with 315 standby the choise is obviuse for me. And how the hell can you complain so much about things like fonts??? Btw I've testede this phone and I'm more impresed by it than i was from the T68 when I first tryded it. Thie phone has an impressive qualaty, the display is awsome i think. Not much I can complain about beiside the memory, but if you got the HBM-30 things are difrent, I think you can store files on the mp3 player.
Btw I like you site
keep on!
